My family and I visited your restaurant today with hopes of giving our toddler a fun hibachi experience. Unfortunately, what should have been a special outing turned into a frustrating and disheartening encounter due to the dismissive attitude of your staff.

Upon arrival, there was confusion about seating: my husband requested "dine-in," not realizing this excluded the hibachi area (a policy we were unaware of). We were seated and waited patiently for 34 minutes with no updates. When I approached the hostess to inquire, she abruptly informed me we were in the wrong section and could not sit at the hibachi tables. While we completely understand policies exist, the way she handled the situation was appalling. Her tone was condescending, as though we were an inconvenience, and she outright told my husband, “You can leave if you want.”

What upset us wasn’t the seating mix-up—it was the complete lack of empathy or professionalism. We had a young child excited to watch the hibachi show, and instead of offering a polite explanation or apology for the wait, we were treated with contempt. A simple clarification upfront or a courteous response could have resolved this smoothly.

It’s deeply disappointing to spend time and money at a place that makes families feel unwelcome. We hope this feedback encourages your team to train staff on basic customer service and compassion. Everyone deserves respect, even when...

TL:DR: Best experience and food I have had at a hibachi south of Atlanta!! We came here last minute and without reservations. There was a 25-minute wait, but it went by so quickly for our party of three. We chose to sit at the hibachi so we could have dinner and a show. It was excellent!! Firstly, my husband ordered hot sake, and maaaaan it warmed us up! Then we had two appetizers, the beef gyoza and shrimp tempura. The sauce that came with the gyoza was so delicious and thick, coating the gyoza and shrimp beautifully. My husband and friend both had hibachi dinners so they got served Japanese clear soup (which was soooo tasty and not oily) and the salad with ginger sauce (my husband said it was the best ginger sauce he's ever had). My meal consisted of three sushi rolls: the Peachtree City Roll, the Vegas Roll, and the Tempura Philly Roll. All three were divine. The last two were deep-fried and just melted in my mouth!! Our chef was funny and kept us laughing through the meal. My husband and friend said their hibachi meals were excellent, especially the steak medium and the scallops!! I ate so much I was STUFFED! We will most definitely be...

We'd been waiting to eat here for a few months. The photos and stand alone building gave the appearance of a finer dining experience. It's just another regular hibachi place. The Best part of the experience was the very friendly Hostess with great decorum.

A party had just gotten up from the others half of 1/2 of the table just as we sat down. That other half of the table sat dirty until right before our chef came which had to be at least 30 mins. Before the hibachi chef comes the waitress takes your order, brings your drinks, soup, salad and gives you time to eat. That's how long we looked at rice veggies and other food scattered across the other 1/2 of our table.

I ordered water with my meal, which was never refilled or even checked for a refill.

Most hibachi that I've ever eaten at completely clean the grill after the meal is cooked and served. The chef slightly scrapped yet left all of what he gathered with his spatual in a wet pile off to one side of the grill. Not exactly an appetizing sight.

Again none of this is truly a big deal. Yet we will not return because there's just not enough attention...

First time there. I was always curios about the hype in this place. I loved the entrance. We did have to wait but the staff was really friendly and got us a seated sooner then we expected despite the crowd. It was really clean and orderly. However, the food was okay? My order was read out loud 3 times and the cook still messed up. Too much butter and not enough seasoning for my taste.. The sauces felt bland and I wished the salad dressing was optional. Also, my friend and I went as a party of two and got accommadated with two other parties of two. That was okay given we all wanted the hibachi experience, however, we were not notified of the upcharge. It's reasonable but it would've been nice to have known that upfront.

This is the best sushi I've found south of Atlanta. The place was very busy on the Saturday night we visited and had we come 15 min later, we would have had to wait for a table. There was already a wait for the "hibachi" (actually mostly teppanyaki) dining). The service was friendly and helpful even though the lone server eventually had a full dining room. The decor is much nicer than the typical Japanese restaurant. The spring rolls we're wonderfully crispy but the filing had been cooked too mush. Servings of the picked ginger could have been more generous and the spicy mayo wasn't spicy but otherwise no complaints. We will definitely return.
