Chapultepec Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Tyrone

We use to live in Tyrone and Newnan and had decent service and meal. Shile back visiting for business, I thought I would give this a shot.

It started out OK, with being acknowledged walking in and served by Vincent. Someone bought chips and salsa, I ordered a drink with floater and placed my order.

Well, the margarita was OK but the food was grisley. The server never came back to see how things were; he was too busy taking pictures with some table. The owner (I supposed) and manager (or co-owner) never asked how things were going.

After getting my bill (a floater was $9, really?), and asking how much was the floater (it wasn't itemized) I paid and left. On the way out, they had the nerve to say, "Hope your dinner was good and come back." I will NEVER come back and next week when I return to the area, none of my group (about 10 who was looking for a Mexican place) will be coming here. I guess I might get treated differently since I will be with a different persuasion

We will go the Don Nachos in Palmetto instead. Great food, personable service and decent transparent...

I had once rated this place with 4 stars in the beginning and now there has been a drastic change in their customer service.They did a switch and bait with their Margarita prices and they close down early, even though it still has 10p for their closing time. I believe your skin color has to be white to receive any good interaction and/or customer service from the waitresses. Every time I took a family member or friend here, they noticed the same things I did. No one came to our table, we had to go get our own menus, they continued to walk pass us and went to the Caucasian customers and laughed and joked with them, while we were just sitting there waiting for someone to even give us some chips and salsa. I'm seeing many people who dine in have had good experiences, so part of me wants to blame it on the take-out but in all honesty the food had a very nasty taste to it, so it probably wouldn't matter if i dined in or not. I got veggie fajitas. They tasted burnt like the grill was dirty. I was so turned off I threw it away. Total waste of time and money, will never be back. I had a bad vibe soon as i walked in.
