Came in today for my 2nd visit to place a order and the older/mature lady who works the counter always has a bad attitude or energy as if she doesn't want to answer questions pertaining to the menu or just completely doesn't want to be bothered. You can ask her the most simplest question and she will respond as if she doesn't have time to answer that question. I simply just said no thank you and walked out for the 2nd time. How do you label yourself a business but some of your counter staff completely misses every time just placing a to-go order. In a time of recession and uncertainty no business can afford to lose customers or have a bad review posted on an app that lowers your rating and customer count. As a person who has many years of food and beverage all over Atlanta I know for certain the front of the house is the frontline to customers. Your cashier or to-go person should be friendly and warm especially when you have a unique menus with sold out signs hanging up when you guys run out of certain products. From my point of view To-Go must make up a lot of your business because the last two times I have came to this location the tables are empty but guests are ordering To-Go. I could of gave up after the first time this happen but I can all the way back to this location for the same thing to happen twice. In the restaurant/service industry there are plenty of trainings all staff do periodically for customer service and or food/alcohol safety. As a business owner I would want the best fit as my frontline staff always. Those people who know how to do that well can create ever lasting memories for a lifetime or generation of customers because that visit to a local mom/pop restaurant was memorable. Please get the right staff in the front or at least have them trained properly to deal with customers who just may have a question..... A family owned business is supposed to be better than this because it's not controlled y a corporation. They can quickly fix any problems in house and change the narrative. The back of the house is only as important as the people who help customers and collect payments in the front. You guys really need some help at your counter. She will run many people away or they just may not want to return. 0-2‼ Jim & Nicks would never act like this at...
Read moreThe food is decent and I have patronized this establishment numerous times, but the owner has the absolute most awful attitude and demeanor. My sisters and I go there a lot for lunch because I am building a new home in the area. I’m sure the owner recognizes us when we come in but nevertheless she is consistently RUDE. Other customers that she knows will come in and she is very kind and polite to them, but no matter how much we spend or patronize the business, her rude attitude is always there. My sister and I have both made comments to her about being nicer, but the comments continue to fall on deaf ears. I sincerely believe that if you want to be in business, you need to be a lot more nicer, a lot more friendlier, and show appreciation for the people that consistently patronize your business. Her husband, the other owner, is extremely kind, welcoming, and tries to genuinely show his appreciation for the customers. No matter how decent the food may be, if you don’t have that welcoming experience, then you can easily make a decision not to frequent this place again. Unfortunately this is not a place I want to visit again and I am certain that I would not recommend it to...
Read moreI’ve been eating at Ohio Hog for a few weeks now. First, let me say the food there is fantastic!!! My fiancé and I have made this our in town BBQ place! We have made this our weekly spot for BBQ at our shop… sadly, we’ve run into the same issue with the same woman that brought us our food (since we order online). Cutlery… she said the cutlery was in the bag, for us to get to the car and discover no cutlery. Second time, I went to pick up the order and went to get cutlery, she said the cutlery’s in the bag!… guess what as soon as I got back to the shop, there was no cutlery! I had to go buy it cutlery because no one could eat. I hate to write a review over something so small, but this woman’s customer service skills are terrible… why could I just get three forks to feed my staff?
Your food is fantastic, but PLEASE, find a new face to represent your...
