EVERYONE BEWARE THIS PLACE DOES SOME SHADY THINGS. WENT ONE DAY TO BUY CHICKEN DURING MY LUNCH BREAK AS I WORK IN TYSONS CORNER ACROSS THE STREET. I WAITED IN LINE FOR 10 MIN AND THEIR CREDIT CARD MACHINE HAPPENED TO STOP WORKING WHEN I GET TO THE REGISTER. MAN AT THE REGISTER SWIPED MY CARD 4X AND SAID THAT NONE WENT THROUGH. THEY DID NOT LET ME TAKE THE FOOD SO I SPENT 30 MIN OF MY BREAK FOR NOTHING TO LEAVE WITH NO FOOD. CHECKED MY BANK ACCOUNT THE NEXT DAY AND EVERY SWIPE THE MAN DID AT THE REGISTER WITH MY CARD WENT THROUGH AND I WAS CHARGED 4 TIMES. I CALLED IN REGARDING THIS SITUATION AND THEIR SUPERVISOR SAID I HAD TO GO IN TO GET A REFUND WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. SO I HAD TO LEAVE WORK EARLY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE TO GO BACK TO GET A REFUND. TALKED TO THE OWNER THAT IS A LADY AND I EXPLAINED TO HER THE WHOLE SITUATION AND I FINALLY GOT A REFUND AFTER WAITING FOR 20 min I TOLD HER THAT SHE SHOULD GIVE ME A FREE MEAL FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND SHE TOLD ME THAT ITS NOT HER FAULT THAT HER SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING. I EXPLAINED THAT THE SYSTEM DID WORK B/C IT CHARGED ME EVERY SINGLE TIME. SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE WITH ME. BY FAR THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NOT BE TAKING MY MONEY BACK TO THESE PEOPLE DURING MY LUNCH AS I USE TO BE A REPEATED CUSTOMER AND BEWARE EVERYONE CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS AFTER THEY SWIPE YOUR CARD BECAUSE THEY MIGHT BE TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE AND DOUBLE CHARGE YOU WITHOUT...
Read moreThey're not exaggerating when they claim to serve the best chicken in town. Alway moist, always perfectly seasoned, always fresh and hot. And their sides aren't just afterthoughts either. Fries, yucca, plantains, rice, salads, etc... they're all made well. As for service and value, pandemic doesn't seem to have impacted them too much. Their service is fast and friendly as ever if a little impersonal. But they've always been that; I think mostly due to just how busy they are whenever I go. Prices are higher as they have gotten everywhere else. Don't like that they only give two (very small thimbles of) sauces for a half chicken (should be four) and charge $.25 per extra thimble. I can't imagine that the sauce is that expensive to make that it warrants a surcharge if you need more. That aside, if you're looking for a great meal at a reasonable value and have a hankering for chicken, this...
Read moreI'm not someone who's had a lot of Peruvian chicken during my life, but I know that Super Chicken at least makes chicken that is bussin.
Super Chicken isn't a super fancy place - it's more of a fast casual place that has seating but no servers. That's not what you come here for, though - it's the chicken. I'd personally recommend getting dark meat, which is actually cheaper than the white meat. The chicken is seasoned extremely well, never overcooked, and overall slaps. You also get two sides - and you have plenty of choices here. You can go with yuca, fried rice, regular rice, salad, and so many other options. I personally go with the regular rice and chickpeas, which is phenomenal. The yuca is also awesome.
Lastly, the sauce. They've got a yellow savory sauce and a green spicy sauce. They are both phenomenal and add so much to the experience. Unfortunately, you have to pay if you want...
