My husband and I went to Bob Evan’s Tuesday afternoon 3pm on December 17th 2024 they’d only had one side open no booth only tables that we sat at two women came in and were seated my husband and I order the double meat breakfast and we also ask for coffee and Juice we still didn’t have our food by 3:30 my husband had finished his coffee and juice the people who had came in late were served there food eating our waitress passing by not saying one word to us about our food waiting on those who had gotten there food before us the side they weren’t going to open were open because the ladies who came in wanted to sit on the window side I guess they were regulars that came in all the time like they knew them. the waitress said it ok for them to sit on the close my husband and I still waiting on our food our waitress took their order and I confronted her and ask her what’s going on with our food we’ve been here almost an hour and how she’d served two tables that was here after us and there eating she’s telling me different when I know what I see and the ladies on the close side we’re about to be served then it was 3:45 people and we’re still waiting we were served by 4:00 then the ladies on the close sides food came right out They don’t wear name tags she didn’t ask how was everything did you need anything the food were excellent everything cooked perfect my husband called her over and asked for water an a to go box I asked for more coffee and a to go box we didn’t see her after that. Did I give her a Tip No It was something about me that seems to irritate her We spoke to her when she came over ,thank her for our drinks and our food once we’d got it.mine you I’m 75 years old We always leave a Tip this is our first time ever experiencing this there.when we go there our food would come out within 15 minutes or so,Not this time she...
Read moreI came to Cleveland to visit my mom. I'm from Cleveland but moved to Columbus in 2019. Bob Evans has always been one of my favorite places to get breakfast. Unfortunately this time was not as I expected. I went in to order my food and stood there for a out 10 minutes and not one person even acknowledged me standing there. There was a young lady in the kitchen packing to go orders and answering the phone (her name was Keesha) . Another young man was taking orders to tables, and another young lady just walking around aimlessly, doing absolutely nothing (and both young man and the young lady walked by me numerous times and didn't utter a word. Finally, I said, "excuse me, is anyone going to help me" ( to the 2nd young lady) only fir her to tell me "one moment". Not long after Keesha came up and took my order. I asked for the manager and within minutes she came out. I expressed to her my concerns and she said, "thank you for letting me know." After my order was taken I sat patiently and waited for my order (which was almost $40). As I sat there I watched the workers and to my surprise Keesha was doing just about everything by herself upfront. She was ringing up orders, filling to go requests , and getting the orders packed and out in a timely manner. The young girl still wasn't doing a thing. Keesha brought my order within 10 minutes and I asked her for her name and a card. I thanked her for her outstanding customer service and tipped her as much as I could. I come home frequently but I probably will not EVER go back to this Bob Evans. Keesha was excellent! She never stopped smiling, she was quite efficient and got the food out in a timely manner. Read moreOnline/Curbside Service: Ordered for Thanksgiving. Arrived early and called. Was told my name could not be found, did I choose correct location. I confirmed I did. Put on hold. Was told it would be another 10 minutes (no apology). After 20 minutes I went inside to check on my order. After all customers gone, I was approached and asked my name for a second time and told my order was being prepared. Once the box was brought out, I asked if I could check all 3/4 containers. I noted that TWO containers of gravy were hot, but all other containers were cold or frozen (not a good sign). I ended up leaving after almost an hour. Once home, this is what I unpacked: Turkey (breast roasted not sliced not seasoned); THREE containers of mashed potatoes (consistency of pancake batter); TWO containers of 1/2 inch diced, raw, frozen yam pieces with TWO 2-inch dollops of butter on top; ONE container of kernel corn with ONE 2-inch dollop of butter on top; ONE container of green beans with tiny bits of onion and brown meat; ONE container of stuffing; ONE 1/4 container of cranberry sauce; ONE 1/4 container of whipped creme; one box of 6 dinner rolls; ONE box containing a pumpkin pie (cracked and dry). Needless to say, I could have purchased these items separately and paid much less than what I paid for the inconvenience I paid Bob Evans.
