Writing this review after just having finished two baos and a taro cream smoothie. WOW, I'm so glad I should stop in today! There are many boba places in the area, but I think the customer service and the baos really set TeaWich apart. My sister and I shared the sweet garlic sausage and fried chicken baos and both were fresh, flavorful, and a generous portion to boot. The bao was soft and fluffy, but held its own against the sauce. The seasoning in the breading on the chicken was such an interesting addition. Perfect to share and really well priced! I would have liked more cilantro on the sausage bao, but I'm sure they have to be reserved with it as not everyone loves cilantro like me. I'll know to ask for more next time.    Read moreDelicious food & drink!! Taiwanese woman/family owned business that has a lot of pride in their food. The owner Katie took the time to speak with me about their menu and was so open about her experience as a restaurant owner. I had 2 of the Garlic Sausage Baos and the Iced Mango Green Tea boba drink. Bao is made fresh, super soft and not the usual bleach white bao you see at other restaurants. This is the real deal, made from scratch per order, fresh! My drink had real mango fruit not the powder and made all the difference in enjoying it. And if you give them enough early notice, they can even make stuff you request! The owner is super nice and we had a great time chatting with her about how she came to own the place, her family, and so the work she and her son put the restaurant and food.
The menu is always changing and she’s always trying new things.
Check them out at the upland farmer’s markets on Saturday mornings, too!
We had the chicken bao gao, hamburger bao gao, and the candied pork belly. All of them...
