I been coming here since they were open. The food is great and a little pricey but it was worth it until today. I placed an online order that consisted of a combo plate and a breakfast burrito with no Tomatoes. The combo plate was great. The breakfast burrito on the other hand ended up having Tomatoes and Onions which isn't supposed to be in the burrito. I put proof in the pictures check it out. So no big deal. I called the restaurant and explained the situation and they handled it well. Promised me to make another one. So when I went to pick up the burrito. The workers where different since they switched shifts. I got to the restaurant at 2:50pm. When I asked about the burrito the lady didn't know what i was talking about since it was a different shift. I was explaining to her about the situation and how the menu online was wrong. She didn't want to own up to it and was insisting it had onions. I've been coming to this place since it was opened up to support a family business and never had the issue with the burrito. She was saying it isn't their fault that the online menu is wrong and was trying to argue with me. I was really patient with her but she was trying to argue. Then she tried charging me for the eggs because of the shortage. I told her it's not our fault that their prices are wrong online and that they should change them. She call the previous shift and they confirmed that I was getting a new burrito. She was not happy about and kept trying to charge me for the eggs atleast! She eventually stopped. Then came back 3 min later to argue with me! How ridiculous. I told her I don't want to argue with her and that they should learn about customer service and how to manage their prices online. She then stopped and brought me my burrito. She was so rude and aggressive for no reason. This makes me not want to go back even though I like the place and was all for supporting small businesses. I'll just go back to...

Risen Bakery and Grill is a hidden gem for Mediterranean food lovers in Upland, California. This clean, welcoming establishment offers a delightful dining experience with excellent food and friendly service.

We tried the Combo Plate featuring filet mignon and chicken, as well as a Falafel plate. The quality and preparation of the dishes were impressive across the board.

The hummus was a standout, fresh and delicious, providing a perfect accompaniment to the main dishes. The falafel was particularly noteworthy - cooked to perfection and maintaining a moist interior, which can be a challenge for many restaurants. It's refreshing to find falafel that isn't dry or overcooked.

The rice that came with our meals was well-seasoned and flavorful, elevating the entire plate rather than serving as a bland filler. Both the filet mignon and chicken in the Combo Plate were well-prepared, though specific details about their taste and texture would provide a more complete picture.

Portion sizes at Risen Bakery and Grill are generous - so much so that we didn't have room for dessert. However, the baklava and cheesecake on display looked tempting and are definitely on our list to try on a future visit.

While we didn't sample the baked goods, the "Bakery" in the restaurant's name suggests this might be a specialty worth exploring. The visible dessert options appeared promising and could be a reason for a return visit.

The staff's friendliness added to the positive dining experience, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our meal.

For those who enjoy Mediterranean cuisine or are looking to try something new, Risen Bakery and Grill is definitely worth a visit. Its combination of tasty, well-prepared food, friendly service, and clean environment makes it a recommended spot for a satisfying meal in...

Omg! I've been wanting to try this place out for years now, ever since it was being built. And I'm telling you, it did NOT disappoint! The chicken in the chicken combo was impossibly tender, juicy and delicious 🤤 it paired BEAUTIFULLY with the tart & creamy sauce it came with. The falafel was also absolutely amazing, of course pairing marvelously with the house-made hummus. And speaking of house-made, I could tell that pretty much every item on my plate was made carefully by hand, and it just doesn't get any better than that. Except actually, it does get better- THE TIRAMISU! I felt initially that the price was a bit steep, but all doubts melted away along with the dessert in my mouth. HEAVENLY. And this is coming from a bonafide tiramisu addict such as myself. This dinner was absolutely divine, and I can assure you I'll be back. 10/10, definitely give this joint a try and support a local small business! You will NOT be...

I've always seen this place going up and down the street it's on but never stopped until recently and the staff is very friendly and nice but I was disappointed with the food we got for the price we paid. Got two beef kabobs by themselves and that was $20 alone for a little container with a little bit of meat. I myself got a breakfast burrito which was very overpriced at $13 it had little to nothing inside of it and on top of that I got charged $2 for eggs cuz of what's going on with the whole egg situation I'm guessing. Four pieces of baklava was about $24 The baklava was really good but pretty pricey too. I might try it again but who knows I just wish I didn't get charged so much for so little.
