Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Upland

It had been years since I had been to a Shakeys Pizza. The food was good, but i was very disappointed with the staff and lack of indication that a deal had exceptions. I got a deal that was supposed to be 12.39. The girl rings it up and says that will be $18. I asked how did we get to 18 from 12 and she looked at me like i was from another planet and basically ignored the question. I asked again referencing the deal, and again she wasn't sure. She finally said let me ask my manager, and i was told that the choice of chicken pieces made it more. No where did it say this. The menu just indicated 2 pieces of chicken. The girl never told me my choice would make it more. The manager didn't seem to care. I was left frustrated and feeling ripped off and like they don't care about their customers. I get that she was probably new, froze up, or whatever. I wasn't frustrated with her. I was frustrated about how management runs this place: clear communication with customers and care for them, staff training, and it was extremely hot. We just moved into the area and we’re looking for somewhere to eat so we decided Shakey’s because we hadn’t been there in a long time. It was an hour before they closed so we figured it was ok. As we started ordering I noticed a guy from the kitchen kept shaking is head as we ordered and he was standing right there next to the register and As my wife pulled out her card to pay I noticed the same guy punch the back door in anger and yelled out “ THEY JUST KEEP COMING “. So I told my wife stop and put your card away and the cashier asked what happend so I told her so then we walked out. As we started to drive away I seen someone talking to him and then he was laughing as he watched us drive away. I’ve seen some bad service before but never as horrible as this. I went Wednesday October the 29th it was lunch time lunch time I was ordering takeout two legs two thighs and a side order of mojos Shakey's did not disappoint me the food was fresh delicious and juicy all under $20 I will definitely be going back there were a lot of people they had a good deal between 11:00 and 2:00 for lunch time but I couldn't stay so I ordered takeout the young lady that assist me her customer service was excellent also Fidel gave me my order he was very kind and had amazing customer service customer service with a smile also saw the manager he was amazing he was up and down trying to help everyone with a smile talking to everybody making sure everything was fine this place is amazing it's clean the food is amazing there was tons of people for lunch I definitely have to go back Shakey's keep doing what you're doing no wonder people keep coming back this is...
