Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Upper Arlington

If I could give this store a zero I would, we live less then a mile from here and with small children both working in healthcare we can occasionally (second time in 5months) break home to have lunch all together- today was one of those days, I ordered food to be ready for a picnic with my kids at 11:26, at noon I called the store and was told it’ll be outin the next few minutes and at 12:20 we still don’t have lunch I have to head back to the hospital. Pb sandwhich for me and the kids will eventually (hopefully) enjoy a sandwhich. As a result of poor performance, I was not able to execute the family lunch I promised and had they been honest about the horrific delivery turn around I could of gone up to the store and got the darn sandwiches myself. I'd like to begin by saying I order delivery frequently from many different places. I am VERY unimpressed with Jimmy Johns. The sandwiches are decent and it's nice that they don't have a delivery charge, however I can make these sandwiches myself for about $1.25. The tipping point for me is the price increase. If you look up prices for their largest sandwich it says $8.25. The first time I ordered on June 7th it was $9.75. Here it is on June 16th and the same sandwich now costs $10.49. I understand inflation but that kind of price increase is totally unacceptable. Jimmy John's has lost my business forever, and I'm definitely telling all my coworkers not to order either. I love Jimmy Johns but on April 28th I placed a delivery order while I was at work around 2-3pm. They didn’t have a delivery driver until 5PM, I was unaware of this & my order was canceled. I had called back in & asked for proof of my voided order & was told I could not receive that & my refund would arrive 24 hours later. It’s been about 10 days & I called in & spoke to the manager Jamie who was able to send me a copy of my order. The rest of the staff seemed clueless & was no help. I got a copy of the voided order but never was given a refund. I really enjoy Jimmy Johns but find this to be super annoying. I like the lettuce wraps.
