Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Upper Arlington

Really nice experience overall. We ordered online which was a breeze. We checked out the specials and ordered the Pepperoni Magnifico (Cheese, roma seasoning, pepperoni, old world pepperoni and our signature pizza sauce.) The old world pepperoni is small and curls up into a little bowl which is crispy at the top. We ordered the original crust which is not too thick and not too thin. The amount of cheese and toppings were great. The seasonings were tasty. We also added the garlic butter crust. Really good.

When you order online you get a status page to track your order. When it was being delivered, it gave us the name of the driver and told us how many minutes until he arrived. Really cool!

Our delivery guy (Tommy?) was very nice and delivered a hot, fresh pizza to us. Since they have a loyalty club, we received some reward points for our order.

After the hassle I went through trying to order on both the mobile app and online I did successfully place an order this evening (3/14/25) for carry out.

Although the order was ready within the estimated timeframe the food itself taste mediocre.

I’m not sure if it’s due to the dinner time rush and the $3.14 medium w/ purchase of LG or XL special but unfortunately I received an undercooked XL pizza with hardly any sauce. And I swore I chose two garlic sauce cups and received one garlic/one ranch.

I know they appeared pretty busy but I didn’t anticipate having to cook my pizza for additional time when I got home.

This defeats the purpose of carry out and I could’ve spent my $ elsewhere.

I have noticed the more toppings and larger the pie the more likely it seems the ovens undercook the pizza.

The employees are always friendly and the pizza is a great buy. Is it the best pizza in town? I don't think so. Is it good pizza? I would say that it is. The traditional crust, when cooked properly (always ask for it to be extra well done in order to have that crispy bottom crust) has a great bit and the slightly alkaline flavor that pizza crust ought to have.

The thin crust is also passable when ordered well done- otherwise it seems to be pretty limp-which thin crust pie should NEVER be. Order it well done or extra well if you like a "crack" to the bite.

On line orders are always ready on time and the deals that are offered can't be beat. There is almost always a parking spot very close to the front door. This location is doing a...
