DARK ROAST AND DRIP COFFEE DRINKERS: I have never had this happen at any Starbucks ever, but if you order in the afternoon, they'll give you old barely-warm coffee instead of doing a pour over. (Most stores stop making dark roast after 10-11am.) You should specifically ask for a pour over. I waited for my drink, so this was not a case of late pickup and coffee sitting on the counter. (I called, and they apologized and made a note for me to come back the next day for re-do)
MOBILE ORDER PICKUP: If you select in-store pickup, they have no dedicated parking spaces here. There are three ADA spaces at the front of the store. (It's a little strip of stores.)
CUSTOMIZATIONS: They did a good job with customizations and the milk/sugar to coffee ratio. I prefer stores that go a bit overboard rather than not adding enough. Too bad they gave me old coffee that...
Read moreI’m not going to blame the workers for the race to the bottom for Starbucks in terms of labor cost and experience but wow - 20+ minutes for two cold brews? Why would you have three people on for a Sunday morning near an upper class area AND campus??? I was a barista for multiple years and I would be pissed if I showed up to a shift like that with two other people. Why the hell would I ever order ahead if drive through orders are prioritized - which was still moving slow. Can’t wait for Starbucks to not reply to this because I’m calling out their labor policies and prioritizing whatever corporate policy they feel like prioritizing on that particular day of the week. Get a grip - can’t wait for the brand to be gone one day. No sweat off my back not spending $12 for two coffees worth...
Read moreI've ordered multiple "Iced Coffee sweetened and with cream" coffees before. This Starbucks can't get it right. Its been 6 consecutive visits. I quit going to this particular one because it's just absurd. This morning, I thought I should give it another chance and ordered a "Salted Carmel coffee without the mocha" and every other Starbucks has gotten it correct the first time around... The drink they gave me was a mocha. A plain mocha. I asked the barista before I drove off if it was a Salted Carmel coffee, he said yes. I thought I may have been wrong (since I thought I smelled the mocha) and that maybe my order was explicit enough... NO. I wasn't able to taste it until it cooled down a bit, and to my dismay, it is a mocha. So disappointing. 7...
