Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Upper Providence Township

4months ago I left a 5 star review. And today I continue the 5 star rating. The chicken sandwich was juicy, cooked properly, and had real chicken in it. The bacon cheese fries were a generous portion, cooked well, and tasted great. Their milkshakes are still thick but able to be consumed through a straw. My only "complaint" is their fried pickles are bread and butter pickles when I prefer dill. Their new snack wraps left much to be desired as well the flavor was off in a bad way but I could not tell what the cause of the taste was. Otherwise no complaints from us the food was wonderful and the staff were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Previously: Music was fabulous, service was quick. Double bacon burger and the spicy melt were juicy, everything was made fresh. Burgers were smash burger style and cooked properly.

Chili tatertots were bursting with flavor, onion rings were beer battered with whole rings inside. Garlic Romano fries were flavorful, hot, and crisp. If you like garlic warm you will like these fries. Chicken was moist and had good flavor with the ranch sauce, a bit oily fir me but not bad. I have no clue what happened to this place. I haven’t been here for a few years, maybe since before Covid, but like it’s literally so ghetto here. First of all, they have some weird block thing on the door, looks creepy, and then, when I was ordering, there’s a pill on the floor?? Literally a white pill on the floor in a plastic bag, idk if one of the workers was using drugs or something, but that’s super duper odd. I got a water bottle with my food earlier, and normally the bottles have one of the safety plastic locks on them that you peel off, but mine didn’t have one. Did someone already drink out of my water??? Then to top it off, the hamburger was very small, hardly any meat, and was absolutely tasteless, and my hotdog, idk what happened with this, but I stopped eating it like halfway through, because it smelled like marijuana, I felt like I was in Philly. Overall, my experience today was HORRIBLE!!! I’m only giving 2 stars because I used to like it here years ago. Went to stop by at the local Wayback Burger on a Saturday night to make an order as I had a couple coupons to use. I arrived at 8:30 PM when the store, according to Google would still be open as they closed at 9:00 PM. Walked up to the door and all of the lights were out except one in the back. Every employee in the store noticed me when I was standing outside of the door. One of them walked up, opened the door and I asked "do you guys close at 8 or 9 o'clock?" He said 8 o'clock... either Wayback needs to update their Google account or these bums working there need to be fired for not staying open until closing. It's 2024, we live in the digital age anymore even though i would rather it not be that way. Hold some consistency with how you advertise to the public and how your stores operate. At this point i would never go back to another Wayback Burger store as this was unprofessional and a waste of my time. At least California Tortilla was still open to put an order in. Bottom line I would not recommend going to Wayback Burger in Royersford for either of the two reasons stated above. I won't waste...
