I wanted to see if I can get my phone number from almost 17 years of being a customer with att and I walked in on the ridge pike store in royersford pa at exactly 5:15 pm I was met with a very very rude and disrespectful customer service person by the name Malik who right away told me that he never heard about the UNPLUGGED phone that att is supposedly using in service….. MAlIk was I don’t think you know what you are talking about,if you think you know so you as a customer should look the internet and prove that I am right…. I was like okay. Let alone he kept on looking at his wrist watch in a disgust and disregard for me trying to get the fold Samsung (2000$) So disrespectfully that in 10 minutes I have been there 4 times and I was like what time do you close 7 pm he said. I said I would like to see if you can start the process and let me know what I can get done so that I can get my lady to call 611 to confirm that I can have my number… He was like I don’t think you understand what you talking bout and it’s going to be a long process so go get done and come back . I said sir I done my homework and please just start it and I got my lady on the phone and she was already talking to 611 and she has to get me a confirmation number and he was like I think I told 3 times to come back when done.. I was sir what is your problem I am on the phone now so please just start the process. And he got disrespectful and rude again I don’t understand what he was thinking and losing his money on a brand new account….Malik lost business and his %%% What a waste of time and energy. Read moreUpdate - The day after I wrote this review, the store managed to "find" my phone. However, because the phone was traded in way past 30 days after June, I only received a $130 credit so I'm still out $570.
My husband and I switched over from Verizon in June 2022. There was a promotion going on that if we traded in our iPhones, we would get a $700 credit toward new iPhones (only ~$3/mo) so of course we did it. I brought our old phones back a week later to the store to trade them in and the 2 employees were having trouble resetting mine. They told me to leave the phone and passcode with them and they would keep trying to reset or they would give me a call if they couldn't. Never received a call. 2 months later and my husband is getting the credit on his bill but not on mine. ATT says they have no record of my phone ever being traded in and that the store would have to deal with it. I've been going back and forth in-person and on the phone with this store for months now and every time I talk to them they say they will look into it and get back to me and they've never contacted me. Basically, they stole $700 from me and won't own up to it. Now I'm stuck paying for this phone that I would have never got in the first place if there wasn't a promotion going on. The manager & employees are always engaging with customers. They truly take 100 % care of their customers and consistently make extra sure the customer is receiving the service in the exact way they ask. This store is so different than others of this company. They have impeccable knowledge and explain things in detail,.I will only shop at this location due to amazing customer service , and I leave with exactly what I came for, and sometimes more. I highly recommend anyone interested in a cellular company where the devices are the highest value and employees are so kind and friendly , and want nothing more than to see customers leave happy, this is the place to go.
