BE CAREFUL what you buy. Went to the store to purchase a game for my son. We ordered the game with the expansion pack OR so we thought. We were assured that the game we purchased had the expansion pack. When we went home and he downloaded the game the expansion pack was not included. We called the store and the manager told us that all sales are final and now we have to pay an additional 40 dollars. That is absolutely ridiculous.. this was not our error it was their error. No offense to the employees that work at game because they were all very helpful. Game stop is nothing but a bunch of crooks. I bought a game with trade in and my gift card. Went back to return the game and they did not give me the return money for the trade so I lost out on 10 bucks. I called the customer service number on the website which useless. I even have a 3 dollar rewards on my account which gives me and error everytime I try to redeem it. It's only a ticking time bomb before they all close. I went to this GameStop on May 29th to trade in my Xbox and chose to get paid through Venmo. I was told the payment would be sent by the end of the day — it’s now been well over 24 hours and I still haven’t received my money. When I came back to the store to get help, both Amber and Reid were extremely rude, dismissive, and condescending. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, they treated me like my concerns didn’t matter and offered no real assistance. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable customer service.
