This location provided me with the worst customer service that I have ever received from a cable or phone company. I am moving into a new home and was trying to set up Verizon internet, and came to this location to see if I could get an “internet device” that I could hook my router to, as described by the startup instructions. The first sales associate advised I try another store that might have this, but then the manager stepped in and said that the router was the modem, and that I just needed to hook it to the wall with a coaxial cable. I was confused by this, and noted that the instructions said to hook it to an internet device with an ethernet cable. He ignored this and insisted that I just needed to use the coax cable. I said that I would try the other store just to be sure, and as I was about to leave, the manager said, “Fine then, go waste your time.” I asked what he meant by this, and he very rudely repeated that I was wasting my time by asking for more help. I asked why he was being a jerk about this, and he escalated by accusing me of being the jerk, and he repeatedly told me to leave. When I got home, I tried the coax cable, and it did nothing. I did some research online, was able to track down an ONT device left by the previous home owner, and was eventually able to set up the internet by hooking my router to it with the ethernet cable. To summarize: The manager of this store was condescending, treated me like an idiot, doubled down and escalated the situation when I asked why he was acting this way, and to top it all off, he gave me incorrect information and clearly didn't know what he was talking about. Ironically my phone "bricked" after it went through a "software upgrade" a month before it I was due for an upgrade. Walked in provided my name for their list. Waited a bit and then a person asked if I needed assistance, as soon as I saw who it was I knew I wasn't getting any where. Dealt with this person before and just no experience or customer care, just "what can I sell you today". Explained my situation and the fact that I have been a Verizon customer for over 15 years, I asked "how can you help me waive whatever fees are involved if I get a phone today? I am also looking to cut cost on my monthly bill." Persons response, "Let me ask my manager". She proceeds to interrupt the manager who was on his personal phone doing whatever to see what they could do. "Hmm, well, we can waive $15 and that's it." Back to his phone he went. Now I am back to terrible rep who doesn't know $h!t from Adam and her response, "well you can buy this phone which will increase your monthly bill by only $10 or you can go to Best Buy or Target and buy a phone out right and transfer the SIM".
Went to a Verizon re-seller and they were the other end of the spectrum. Waived additional fees and threw in some extras for the hassle.

But when he asked the manager for an authorization code, the manager,Anthony, decided to rudely involve himself tell me the device would be flagged. I explain it had been previously activated are recent as 2 weeks ago. He argued and kept repeating himself. The rep added the hotspot and we began to discus the plan plan I wanted. While discussing options or switching my current plan to be able to add the hotspot and get the hotspot plan I wanted, Again the manager, Anthony, rudely and unsolicited, inserted himself in the transaction and said and I quote “it’s $140 a month or leave”. I was shocked and left. I told him I was going to call customer service to report him and asked his name. His reply was “call customer service, let them deal with you”. I have purchased and/or activated many devices at this location. I have even brought friends and family to this store to switch to Verizon or upgrade their phones. Due to the MANAGER, Anthony’s rudeness I will NEVER step foot in that store again.
Update: Thanks for the reply, but I went to another Victra Verizon store to activate my device where I received outstanding customer service. Anthony, should not be a a sales rep, let alone a manager and because of him I will not shop at the store ever again and will advise my friends and family...
