The pizza and stromboli are some of the best I've ever had in my life. And I eat pizza frequently all across the U.S. I think this type of pizza is referred to as "Trenton style". Or maybe this is a modified Trenton style. It has most of the sauce under the cheese like you have in traditional pizza. But then there's a portion of the sauce that is on top of the cheese. Both the sauce and the cheese are very rich in great flavor, and this gives the pizza it's overall exceptional taste. The crust is good, but not always consistent. Most of the time when I get pizza here the crust is nice and thin, as it should be. But once in a while one side of the crust will be significantly thicker, and this is not so great. But most of the time it is really thin throughout the entire pizza which is wonderful. The place is really clean and meticulously kept up. But the dining area is rather small and when you're seated at a table it's impossible to feel any sense of privacy. And the building is down at a lower grade than the road it's on, so you don't have a very nice view out the windows. But there's nothing that ownership can do about those things. The things they do have control over, they do an...
Read moreThis is a "Real deal" old school pizza shop. You know what it's gonna be like. You come in, the girl's gonna tell you to sit where you like, even though there's a sign that says "wait to be seated". Next she's gonna ask if you need menus. You tell her no because you know what you came there for. You know what they have because it's an old school shop. Pretty much what you want, they have. You also ask for glasses, because, duh, it's a BYOB! Then she brings you what you want, prepared exactly the way you want it, with just the right amount of tude. She checks back regularly and carries on with some entertaining banter. After you've thoroughly enjoyed your meal she drops the surprisingly affordable bill. You go pay at the register and tip her out, ALWAYS very satisfied with your experience. One of the last places around that hasn't converted to the cookie cutter gitshy production shops. Love it here. Here's a wintertime tip. Don't open the door till all in your party are ready to rush in and close the door behind you. You know. Unless you want everybody in there passed off at you for letting the...
Read moreListen up, pizza enthusiasts! Allow me to share with you my thoughts on Longhitano's Pizza, a local establishment that has stood the test of time.
This pizzeria has been a fixture in the community for many years, and it's no wonder why. Their pizza is simply the best around. Perhaps it's their secret sauce that sets it apart from the rest. Whatever the case may be, this pizza is a true work of culinary art that will satisfy even the most discerning of taste buds.
But Longhitano's is not just a one-trick pony. Their cheesesteaks, hoagies, and pasta dishes are all equally delicious and worth trying. Even though the restaurant is on the small side, the ambiance is cozy and inviting.
And let's not forget about their delivery service. Even when delivered straight to my door, the pizza and other dishes arrived warm and well-packaged, maintaining their flavor and freshness.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Longhitano's Pizza to anyone seeking a truly divine culinary experience. This is a local gem that is definitely...
