We were on the way home and hungry, was going to bring home pizza to the family, so we pulled up to this Dominoe’s.
Went inside to order at the counter, worker seemed flustered at using the register so I offered to use the app to order.
Sat on the bench and placed the order through the app. Went back to our car to wait. About 20 minutes later the tracker advanced only once, at the very end of that 20 minutes, to the “your pizza is being prepared and will be ready in 3-4 minutes.”
It seemed far fetched that the cooking hadn’t even started, only the prep had even STARTED, yet it would be done in 4 minutes.
5 minutes later, my order in the app disappeared completely.
Went back in to the store, they said “it was up there but not started yet.” They said it would be about 25 minutes. Seeing as we’d already waited 25 minutes, I cancelled our order.
Since it was for over $50, I had to pay on the app before it would take the order, instead of waiting to pay at pick-up. (Did I mention we did this from inside the store, on the bench?)
The cashier cancelled the order when I said we can’t wait ANOTHER 25 minutes.
I do not have anything to show that I was refunded. She said I could check with my bank in some number of days. I actually didn’t pay attention to the number of days she said to wait, because knowing the number of days does not make me feel better. Whether it shows up in my bank or does not show up in my bank, I have no recourse.
And no pizza.
Still hungry.
A family member at home ordered pizza from Hungry Howie’s, delivered.
I believe when my app suddenly showed no evidence of any order whatsoever, and would only let me start a new one, that likely took place due to some act on the part of the workers realizing only then they’d not even started mine.
I believe it was only then - 20 minutes in and exactly when our app erased all evidence of our order - that our order was finally put on the list - and still behind other orders that came in after ours.
I’ve had nothing but quite negative experiences with pretty much all Domimo’s except the one in Rochester Hills next to the library, which is a far drive from our house. This is disappointing because I like the taste of their pizza.
But I’m the only one in the family that prefers Domino’s, and they’ve lost...
Read moreI was in this store today with my three small children. They are 5,3 and 2. I am single dad and it is tough to wrangle all three even though they are well behaved they are still little. I have been to this store before but never brought the kids before. We went in a little after eleven am. There was no one in the store but the manager Carrie. And a very nice young delivery driver but she left shortly after we got there. The kids came in and Carrie was awesome with them. They have the steps with the glass so the little kids can watch their pizzas be made. They were very excited. Carrie tossed the dough for them and they were amazed. Loaded up the or cheese pizza right in front of them and while they waited gave them each a piece of cornmeal covered dough to play with. They loved it. We were going to just take it home but they were already there. They say at the counter right in front of the glass and are their pizza and watched Carrie make other orders. They were so entertained by her. She was great at working and interacting with the kids giving me the required 15 seconds to inhale two pieces of pizza as I normally have to do. But she was awesome. Brendan (5) said “you have the finest pizza in town”. I know that sounds made up and corny but true. Either way the service was awesome and the food was great. I have tried the new dominoes and while it was better it was ok. Carrie made it a lot of provolone and whatever garlic stuff they put on it but it was awesome. Thank you so much. The kids had fun and I very much appreciate it as a single dad a few minutes to eat and have them occupied is seldom and very welcome wherever I can get it. Thank you again. Everyone go here. They...
Read moreI know that sometimes the customer has complicated orders, however, it seems every single time I order from this location. They don’t care because they screw up every single time. The manager does not seem to get that messing up five pizzas is OK and professional and normal. It’s not like I order here every single day back to back to pack looking for a screw up and a handout however, I’m gonna start because this is ridiculous and it happens every time and I’m gonna take advantage of it. Literally one green pepper on my entire pizza missing items and items weren’t even supposed to be there or on it. Please note this pizza has a whole should’ve had ham 1/2 should’ve had spinach pineapple jalapeño and the other half should’ve had ham again bacon onion, green pepper. There is literally one green pepper on this entire pizza no bacon and they just throw a tiny bit of jalapeños, right in the center, and not even spread it out to a whole Half of the pizza. I know this Isn’t an Italian restaurant however being that you are Domino’s, I expect more from you this is not Domino’s quality. This is not how Domino’s should run and the staff working at the Domino’s at Hall Road need to be trained or have different positions and or different jobs entirely because they clearly don’t care or know what they’re doing. The manager is terrible at training because every single time that I have this problem nothing’s done about it and every single time I go in there it’s a free-for-all. No one’s ever at the register and they only hear the bell and then come it’s like they’re outback...
