Five Guys — Restaurant in Vacaville

Finally decided to try out this burger joint. First thing is ?you think it's a pizzaria, but the smell of bacon, cheese, and grill burgers come waughing through the door upon entry. For this being my first visit, the menu was basic yet a bit confusing & we had to ask the server for assistance, as we questioned menu items. In the end, we spent $26. on 2 double bacon cheeseburgers, 1 reg bacon cheeseburger, and a large order of fries that serves 3 people. No drinks! While we waited patiently for our order to be prepared (10 mins), we nibbled on free peanuts, that you help yourself too. All in all, the burgers were a 8 on taste & quality, 9 for service & timeliness, and a 9 for cleanliness. Would I go back? Sweet baby Jesus, yes I would! But only 4-5x a year, as I wouldn't want to spoil myself there...

I've stopped in at this location several times over the years but my visit today was the 1st visit in over a year (lack of traveling during the pandemic). 3 employees were working, no other customers were there when we arrived a few minutes before noon. Very friendly staff, good burger as usual but really disappointing fries. Husband and I ordered cajun fries to split but the fries were limp, soggy and cold. Maybe they'd been made in advance anticipating a lunch rush that didn't develop? Really disappointed because I was looking forward to them for the first time in over a year. Also a huge puddle filled the hallway leading to the bathrooms, it was wall to wall water, looked to be a leak from the soda machine. If you wanted to use the bathroom you had to splash...

Updating because one of the store managers was more than helpful when helping me! I had tried to place an order online but it didnt let me. There was a discrepancy in the online price and over the phone. I showed the cashier and he took off a burger i didnt order, he accidentally duplicated it, but the total was still off. I didnt feel like arguing it so i just paid. Got home and the receipt showed 4 burgers when like i had said at the store, there were only supposed to be 3. Wouldnt be a big deal but they didnt even give us the burger… so I was overcharged and shorted what i was overcharged it was crazy.
