Two issues at this Rack for me. I purchased a handbag online for pick up at this store. Only two cashiers working regular line. I waited in the online pick up line forever. The handbag was damaged. It had several blemishes in it. The lady who worked there saw them, and got rushy like š¤·š¾āāļøAlso, the bottom of the bag had been smashed so it left a permanent imprint in the leather. A manager called me about it after the review I left, and apologized for this occurring. She offered to give me a 25% discount, but I'd have to come back to Vacaville. I live in Vallejo. I felt this would be an inconvenience for me. I'd burn more in gas coming back out there. When I called her back to suggest another solution which was just send me a gift card for $25. I spoke to David he had the audacity to tell that $25 gift card would be more than the 25% discount š². Dude are to you kidding me. The difference between the two would only be $2.49 WOW. After I hung up and realized this would put the Rack in bankruptcy š¤ I called back, and told him to forget. I wouldn't want to put that type of hardship on the companyš„µš”. This was so petty. The Rack is the one selling damaged merchandise dude. You need a refresher course in customer serve you suck. Don't be condescending with me...Furthermore, this Rack doesn't look as upscale as others like Pinole, Emeryville etc. It's messy, and you can't get anything off the racks because there are too many clothes. Customer service no longer exist nowadays. Ppl say what they want, and have no respect for the consumer. Treat ppl like you want to be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you love finding name-brand deals without digging through chaos, Nordstrom Rack delivers. This location is clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The moment you walk in, associates usually greet you or offer help as they pass by, which makes the shopping experience feel personal without being pushy.
Thereās always something worth grabbing, especially those items youāve had your eye on but held off buying due to price. Once it hits the rack, itās a wrap. The rotation of inventory keeps it fresh and fun to browse.
Lines move quickly, and while you might catch a short wait on a busy day, they keep it efficient. The store isnāt loud or overwhelming, and the service is consistently friendly. Plenty of surprise markdowns show up in every section, from clothing to home goods.
The only downside is the shoe section, which can look a little rough later in the day after people dig through it. A bit more upkeep there would help, but itās not a deal breaker. There were no trip hazards the day I went, and overall, it still felt safe and manageable.
Plenty of parking makes it easy to get in and out without stress. Follow me and friend me for more real reviews that help you spot the best deals and skip...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTried to return a shirt that I had received as Christmas gift from over a year ago. The register person was nice & told me I could only get store credit & it was significantly less than the tag price since it was over a year old (I expected this working for GAP inc. for 10+ years & having common knowledge of last years fashion being less this year) I said that was fine but she needed a manager to process return. When the manager came out & heard what the register person said, he looked at me & said no receipt no return & they said he had the right to refuse returns without a reicept even though their policy stated I could return items without a receipt. He refused mulitple times & to not hold up the line any longer I just left. Don't know what his deal was but this was 1 of the worst customer service acts I've seen by a manager in a long time. He agreed I'm allowed to return items without a receipt but followed it with he has the right to deny any returns as well & wouldn't give me a reason why. I hate accusing people of racism but I can't think of anything else unless he thought I was his bully from grade school. Hopefully the rest of the management is better...
