We love Mary’s. My daughter and I came here a couple weeks ago, and our server was so friendly and attentive that my daughter and I both commented on it how wonderful she was (young, dark hair, sad I don’t remember her name). My daughter, who also works at a restaurant, was so impressed that we left about a 30% tip. Fast forward to tonight… our hostess was very pleasant and let us know that Brooke would be our server and would be with us shortly. Brooke came to our table, no pleasantries, and asked if we were ready to order. I told her what we’d like to drink, and ordered a pizza, salad, and breadsticks. Everything was brought out on time, and tasted great. It was off putting that she just seemed like she didn’t care to help us, not that she was too busy, just that she didn’t care. When she brought the pizza, she didn’t bring or offer new plates, or ask if we needed anything, drink refills, nothing. The girls wanted ranch, so we flagged her down. One or two slices into the pizza she brought our check, again no asking if we needed anything, if we’d be ordering dessert, just a check. She never came back so we asked how she wanted us to pay. She asked if we wanted a box, we said no. Then she started offering up suggestions as to how she likes her pizza… cool, would have been a great suggestion when we were ordering. We paid, and were sitting there talking while the girls drank their sodas. She started offering them to-go sodas, we declined, and then asked if she could at least start clearing the table (with a bussing cart pulled right next to the table). Not in a friendly let me get this out of your way manner… but now it was clear this was about her watch. I just couldn’t wrap my head around how she was so unpleasant! At the end of dinner, yes, we were the only ones left In the restaurant so I get that she wanted to leave, but come on, she was rude from the beginning. I will be back, but will ask for a different waitress if I am ever seated in her section again. Kudos to the rest of the staff for doing...

We didn’t even get to eat here -
My husband and I decided to have our dinner date here before our movie showtime. Unfortunately, we were seated in a corner and promptly forgotten about. The only other two tables present were already helped and eating. No one ever came to take our order. For the next twenty minutes, I watched as they helped those two tables, sat three more, and subsequently took the orders of everyone that arrived after us. When that was finished I thought that surely it would be our turn now, but to no avail. They still didn’t take our order, they didn’t give us water, they didn’t even look in our general direction so we could signal them to tell them we never got to order. We realized that even though we had given ourselves ample time to have dinner before our movie, we still had yet to order, wait for it to be made, wait for it to be served, eat, and pay the bill. We would probably be very late for our movie. At this rate, we might miss it altogether. Quite disappointed and extremely unimpressed, we left the restaurant and went to Ike’s instead. I definitely understand a restaurant being busy and mobile orders needing to get done but the restaurant was not busy at all at the time we were there. There wasn’t any excuse for completely ignoring us. I have looked at reviews from others and this seems to be a trend here. The food is good based on times I’ve tried it in the past but this kind of service doesn’t reflect well on the restaurant or its staff.

Read moreI had heard mixed reviews about Mary's, so I wanted to give it try and see which was accurate. It was dinner time, 6:30 ish and almost to capacity when I arrived. I was seated by the manger, or it felt like a manager. The restaurant was clean, with table protocol's in place, and all the staff had their masks all on. I decided to try their limited time Chicken sandwich, with a side of fries. My waitress was friendly, cordial, and polite. Served warm bread and butter, along with an ice tea. Chicken sandwich arrived promptly, was hot and just as advertised, lots of sauce and tasty. All in all I had a very nice expierience and will return to try the chicken parmesan at a later date. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, food was prepared well, and decently priced, and very generous portions. Their menu has many options to chose from, so I would give them a thumbs up and say give them a try if you are in the area. Bon appetit, and until...
