Reviews based on Steve, a bartender. Our family has been fortunate to have visited Vail many times from when our kids were pre-teens. My son had always wanted to celebrate his 21st bday at Bart & Yedi's. We planned a trip around this and the servers were wonderful-made him feel special with attention and a cake. We returned a few days later after the Super Bowl game had ended. Not such a friendly place... we were treated like outsiders because we did not attend the SB party. Went up to the bar to order a beer and Steve, an arrogant man, was talking with a customer using very foul language. When I mentioned this, he said that the customer gave him very large tips and he wasn't going to turn that down by asking him not to curse. I didn't expect him to correct his customer but as a professional, Steve should not have used foul language, especially with women around. He told that if I wanted to leave, to go ahead and he would refund the cost of my beer. As my family stood at the bar, he continued to make rude comments. We were so disappointed with this attitude. We know now that we are not welcome as non-locals but people like Steve need to remember that patrons, local or not, are an important part of what subsidize the...
Read more4th of July looking for a place to eat at 8:30 at night is not an easy task in Vail. Got turned down at a pizza place even tho they were technically still opened and ventured around til we came across Bart & Yeti's. Very busy, thought there would be a wait, but they sat us immediately. Sat right next to a party of 10, thought we'd be forgotten about since they were there. Waitress came and said that she was about to leave for the night but then got slammed, and apologized for the wait (it was approximately 5 minutes we waited at the table). She took our order, which we were again concerned cuz the fireworks were to start at 9:45, wanted to make sure we are and were able to get a good viewing of them. Food came just in time. Food was excellent. Very impressive, seeing how they were so busy. We were even able to leave in time to get a good viewing of the fireworks. I am glad we came across this restaurant, what we thought was going to be a bad experience was not. Shout out to the waitress who stayed past her scheduled time, very much appreciated!! We will be back to Colorado in the future, and we will definitely be visiting Bart &...
Read moreNOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. We went for lunch with a 3 yo and 10 month old. The place was empty, we ordered food and drinks for me, my husband and my 3 year old. I fed my 10 month old baby probably 10 teddy grahams to keep him quiet while we ate. The bill shows up and they charged me $2 for "open food." Yes, $2 is a small charge, but for a place that says they're family friendly I think it's absolutely insane that they charged me for feeding my literal baby a few crackers. We'd ordered nachos and beers which is not exactly baby friendly, and the few little crackers kept the mess and also his screaming at bay so that everyone could enjoy their meals. I just think it's really tacky to do that. It's not like I rolled in with a McDonalds happy meal for a 10 year old who could have ordered off the menu. My 10 MONTH old baby couldn't really eat there anyway so why basically charge me a fee for bringing a baby to a public place. Seems like they wanted to make a statement about my young family not being welcome there, and folks should be aware of that considering Vail is a destination for many families. Eat somewhere else with...
