Convenient location, beautiful property! This well maintained 1br unit nesteled in the heart of the lionshead village with it's full galley kitchen, spacious living room, 2 smart tv's and the large mountain view outdoor deck checks all the boxes & truly couldn't be more conveniently located for the skiing enthusiasts! The lion square lodge sits right at the edge of the ski bridge comming off the mountain and the Eagle Bahn gondola. This unit #358 itself is located on the main entrance level right around the corner from the front desk, and the 24/7 complimentary coffee, tea and ice water steps from your door. We loved the amenities this resort has to offer, that includes the restaurant/bar, easy ski valet, the heated outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs located right under the ski bridge, and of course the complimentary shuttle *private car service in and around the vail villages they provide for guests of lion square lodge! Looking forward to returning to this wonderful resort!

Spacious and relaxing atmosphere. 4335 Spruce Way #3 was modern, comfortable, and had all the conveniences you need. Beds were comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and modern. Kitchen was fabulous. Has every appliance and utensils that you’d ever want or need. Washer and dryer were great. Screened windows opened easily to allow fresh air in. Noise from I 70 was hardly noticeable. No houses across the street. Very quiet residential neighborhood. Very little to no traffic on Spruce Way. Treed lot. Has a grated outside stair to get to condo. Small grocery store 3 blocks away. Easy access to I 70. All in all We have no complaints whatsoever. Would definitely stay here again.

Location location location! This was our first time to vail and we booked this property based on friends reviews of the area. It was absolutely perfect. The views of the mountains from the balcony to watch skiers and being in the center of everything was incredible. We didn’t use the kitchen much (it’s vacation….) but it was very nice and had everything we would have needed. After many trips into vail main (on the free/easy bus system), we know we made the right choice with our accommodations. Just perfect.

This place is excellently located, right next to the Eagle Bahn gondola. The location of this particular room (370) is also great because it's on the main floor, so there is less time needing the elevator. All the staff there are extremely friendly and helpful. A great example is Nahuel, who greeted us as we arrived, helped us with our luggage and immediately took us to our room. He also provided great, friendly service during our daily ski valet service. The room itself was spacious. I loved the full kitchen amenities and two separate bathrooms.

If this were a point review, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. We didn't give five stars because we experienced several issues:

The thermostat doesn't work correctly. None of us slept well the first night because the entire place was freezing, even after we set the thermostat at 70. We had maintenance look at it the following morning, but it still didn't work accurately throughout our stay. In contrast with other nights, the room was heated up to 75 degrees when we still set it to 70 again. This was in both rooms, the bedroom and the living room.

The fireplace doesn't always work. We also had maintenance look at it on our second day, but it still doesn't turn on most of the time.

The sliding shower door often derailed from the track. We also had maintenance look into this and while the maintenance person fiddled around with it, he broke the piece that holds the track together, making it worse. Since then, we have had to carefully open/close this sliding glass door with great effort.

Lastly, our son had a night of mental trauma because the housekeeper accidentally took his lifetime stuffed animal when they replaced the sheet (as part of the daily cleaning service). This wasn't discovered until close to 10 PM that day, but the housekeeper had already left. It was very frustrating for my wife and me that no one from the accommodation could access the housekeeping area, but we had to wait until the following day. We tried escalating the matter and accessing the housekeeping room but with no success. My son has slept with this stuffed animal every night since he was a toddler, so that was the most challenging night for him. He shouldn't have to experience that on a vacation. I know this is a rare situation, but I feel they need to change the process and allow the front desk more access to other areas within the accommodation after hours. We appreciate Dana, the operations manager at Lion Square Lodge, accommodating us during our unpleasant...

We only recently discovered lions square lodge after years of staying close by at other very expensive accommodations. What a shame to learn of lsl so late as it lacks nothing the others offer other than a place for breakfast (but the little diner is fantastic!) we stayed in march, 2024 and enjoyed it so much that we are returning in april, 2024, and again in september, 2024. The facility is clean, nicely appointed, and the staff is friendly and eager to help in any way. We stayed in unit s176 in the south building. The unit was clean, roomy, and equipped for all needs as it had a small kitchenette, which included a mini fridge, a microwave, a sink and most kitchenware, cups, plates, utensils, etc. The bathroom shower pressure was excellent too! The unit was on the ground floor at the end of the hall, which made it nice and quiet. The rooms on the first floor have small patios outside with lovely views of the mountain and the eagle bahn trails like bwana loop, born free and simba. They offer free coffee and oreos (even vanailla ones!) each day, which is a lovely touch. They have their own car service which services lions head and vail villages, and they give you their number to call to request transportation to and from as needed. It also has a small business area that offers computers and printers, and it has a fitness room too in their north buildng. The location can't be beat, and the staff will defninitely make you want to return time and time again. Keith and damian are great! We...

Great place to stay to stay to ski and soak! If you're looking for a reasonably priced place to stay and ski vail, this place has all the amenities you need at half the price of staying in the village! Hot tub was hot, and only a short walk (center of the complex) - we used it every day! Laundry available in the unit, which was good to wash and dry our ski gear each day. An east vail shuttle bus stop is literally less than a 50' walk from the property door so you don't have to park at the resort (pitkin creek stop). There is a small convenience store on-property if you need last-minute snacks or beverages. Previous reviews mention broken lightbulbs and cleanliness issues, however we found none of those things to be true - the property condition was fine. Additionally, while we didn't need to call guest services more than one time, they were responsive and immediately solved our issue (door lock question), and all communication prior to the visit was perfect to get us checked in quickly! The kitchen is fully equipped, but my son and i didn't want to cook, and we found food delivery to this address was very timely as well. Pro-tip: bring your favorite coffee/tea for the provided keurig, traditional 12-cup coffee pot, or electric hot water pot! (fortunately the previous tenant left a couple for us...) definitely recommend this property...
