This place is a hidden gem, we went on a couple vacation, lets start with the location which couldnt be better, in the middle of the village, close to everything, the staff super friendly, they gave us nice tips about the village, the hotel is really pet friendly you can tell they love dogs. The room was spectacular for 2 people, new appliances, very cozy and clean, the bathroom super comfortable, the room has heating and a fireplace too, very comfortable kitchen!! And they even gave us free parking which was great news, since parking is extremely expensive in vail. The hotel price was very good, they even have laundry, ice mqchines, free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby. Loved the view from our balcony, definitely will return!!!

The location was great. Literally in middle of Lionshead Village. So all the shops, restaurants and gondola are at your footsteps. It’s also a nice walk to Vail Village, which has even more options for food and shopping. We visited in July so the hot summer did make the room a bit uncomfortable since there is no AC. At nighttime, we kept the patio door open to try to get some cooler evening air into the room but still a bit warm. Luckily our room was equipped with a fan. The receptionist was super helpful and we were able to park in the on-site parking lot. Would highly recommend for the location and I’m sure the lack of AC isn’t a problem in cooler weather 👍

Lift House Lodge was perfect for a quick weekend ski trip. Not only did they accept dogs but the location was absolutely perfect. Our balcony looked out on the cute little square with a good view of the slopes behind that. The hotel was so close to the lift and so many restaurants and stores. We walked 2 minutes and found some amazing restaurants! I highly recommend the seafood restaurant attached to the Lift House. Only complaint is that the bed and pullout couch was a little uncomfortable but the rest of the experience made up for it.

Reserved through Expedia... no where in the description of the room did it say that the complex had no AC. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. She said that it was on the actual website and we shouldn't have used Expedia and if we did it the "right way" we would have known there was no AC during the summer. I checked... it is not stated on their website when you go to make a reservation. She refused to refund us and said "better luck next time".

First thing on Expedia is "DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL" ....when the heat index is 85, and there's no window I can leave open without leaving the door to the balcony open, I cannot leave my dog in the room. We came up for a two day trip and had to cancel kayaking, and we couldn't go into any shops. For our first time at Vail, which is supposed to be the NICEST mountain town around, for us to pay upwards of $700 for a two night stay, where we didn't even stay the second night, the least we could ask for was air condition.

Lastly, we get home and because we had to the leave the balcony door open for the duration of our trip, we had bugs that seem to be "fabric / webbing cloth moths" embedded in a multitude of our t shirts. Absolutely repulsive.

We will be going to the better business bureau. I highly recommend you not staying here during the summer months, or if you want good customer service. We had to leave early because we could not even take a shower after a long day of hiking at 89 degrees.

We were not lied to but we were most definitely deceived. Hope this saves someone from a...

Stayed here while skiing Vail for a week in Feb 2021. All units are studios, but have the feel of a 1-bedroom, since the sleeping area is divided from the living room and kitchen by a large room divider that has lots of storage space. Kitchen is small, but has all you need, with a 2-burner stove, combo microwave- convection oven, coffe maker, toaster and small fridge. (No dishwasher however.) Folks at the front desk were very friendly and the room was super clean. (This was during the covid pandemic, so no housekeeping during the week.) Only thing I missed was ahot tub. They have one, but it's indoors, so they had to close it during the pandemic. Location can't be beat -- just a couple of hundred meters from the Eagle Bahn and Born Free lift. Grocery/ liquor store and many restaurants and shops are an easy walk. I especially enjoyed El Sabor Mexican restaurant, and the Lionshead Jewelers, whci is right next door and is like a small museum with many very impressive fossils and minerals. For the money, it's a great...

We booked very late this year and could only find this studio at Lift House Lodge. We were very nervous upon arrival as far as the space in the studio. We were pleasantly surprised!! We rented a premium studio and it was clean, updated and much more spacious than we anticipated! We arrived afterhours but used the lock box and late entrance to enter. There was a queen bed upon entry into the studio with a double set of cabinets/wardrobes to separate it from the living room/kitchenette. Our daughters slept on the pull out sofa and said it was more comfortable than they expected it to be. The bathroom was quite large and updated. The location couldn't be beat - very convenient to everything. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The dog was...
