Local Joe's Pizza & Delivery — Restaurant in Vail

Food came 30 minutes past the deadline they gave me for delivery which was 1 hour (1hour 30 min total wait time) even though our condo was a 6 minute drive away , when the driver finally arrived she had written the wrong room number down so after receiving a call I had to go out to the front of the complex to meet her she then proceeded to place my ENTIRE ORDER ON THE SIDEWALK FOR ME TO PICK UP!!, told her I was not tipping after grabbing my food off the sidewalk she proceeded to start yelling and cussing at me in the front of the lobby entrance and car loading zone of the vail manor lodge and told me “don’t come back to Vail” after handing me my Change 3$ short claiming that’s all the cash she had ….the only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is after reheating our food in the micro wave (of course it was cold) THE MACARONI AND CHEESE BITES WERE GOOD AF , and THE WINGS WERE HUGE AND COOKED ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND SAUCED UP RIGHT!!! pizza was good too but nothing to write home about .

Local Joes is a great local pizza restaurant with a full menu of apps, sandwiches, and pizza by the pie or slice for dine in and delivery. The place is under new management recently and the quality of food and service has increased dramatically. This place has a great vibe for visitors of the Vail Valley to stop by, watch your favorite sporting event on the flat screen TV's, grab some pizza and have a beer like a true ski town "local." Place is clean, staff is friendly and welcoming, and if you belly up to the bar next any one of the many residents of Vail that are regulars here, they will surely strike up a convo with you letting you know about all the happenings around town and give you advice on things to see and do while visiting one of the great parts of the Rocky Mountains. Listen up, Joe. I have news for you: Prior to my arrival in Vail I was advised by family friends to order from what they described as "the hottest pizza joint in town". They spoke of a menu longer and more diverse than the Amazon, first class service, a working telephone ordering service and even fully-functioning toilets.

What met me was quite the opposite. Enthused by the promise of a buffalo chicken pizza, I called Joe. I called again. And again. And again. I was met by a cold, empty silence. Like crying out for help in the deepest, darkest corner of space. Helpless and alone as my starvation grew louder and louder.

I had crossed oceans, forests and deserts to be here. Over 4000 miles. I even put up with a lay-by in New Jersey to be here. And what did I receive? Silence, emptiness and ultimately disappointment. Eventually my family and I, ravaged by hunger, crawled to Pazzo, where our hunger was alleivated.
