American Deli — Restaurant in Valdosta

I went to get some wings,but I decided to get a burger meal combo. I clearly told the cashier male that I only want ketchup, mustard and cheese....I told him twice. He looked at me and asked how about mayonnaise. I think he was being sarcastic. He didn't tell me my total, I had to look at the register and when he gave me my change....he put it in my hand, but put my receipt on the counter....As I walked away,he said get your receipt....I said I don't need it....he said you need it ....but I knew my number. I said ok, but put it in my hand just like I put my money in your hand....Two other male employees gathered up and started talking in their language....I told him I came in respectful and I expect the same....He said you right and I apologize. As I sat there, he coughed in his hand....He didn't use sanitizer nor water. Another male employee put my food on the counter and I got up and got it off the counter, because I didn't want the cashier to touch my plate with his nasty hand and he tried to hand me napkins with the hand he coughed in. I'll never go back...

I sent my daughter to American deli to pick up wings for a large group she was there 20 minutes until closing she was in line and the man in front of her was able to order, when she came next in line to order the guy told her they were closed! I sent her 30 minutes one way to pick wings up. I am not happy about this because I worked in the restaurant business for years if you close at 6:00 then you took orders until 6:00. We have came here for years for wings but not anymore! This is not how you run a business! My husband and myself both own our on businesses that’s not how it works. I normally don’t write reviews but the owners of American Deli need to know how there business...

The cashier was the rudest person, I have ever encountered at a fast-food restaurant. The cashier didn't offer any assistance at all just rolled her eyes and acted as though we were inconveniencing her. The cashier was totally disrespectful and short with her answers if she answered your question about the items on the menu. The Pictures clearly show Celery as a part of your meal when we asked about the celery, she rudely said we have not had celery since Covid. The pictures clearly need to come down or be updated.
