Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Valparaiso

Went in to order for a family of five. They were extremely busy.I was trying to read my order off of my phone and the individual taking my order was super frustrated. Unfortunately, working in this type of fast pace environment , you have to be the type of person that can handle pressure, while still taking great care of the customer. The person working on the burrito/bowl part of the line at approximately 7:45 was extremely impatient, rude, and clearly not cut out for the pressure of the job. After this individual was literally tapping their hand on the counter impatiently, my husband stepped in and asked them to relax and be nice. It clearly shook them up. Their excuse was that they were really busy. Understandable! That does not give you the right to be rude to the customer! If I have a bad day, it doesn’t give me the right to be rude to the people working at the restaurant. A little kindness and a smile goes a long way! Guess what? I waited in that line for 20 minutes for my food. Guess what? the line was still out the door. Relax! The line wasn’t going anywhere! Be a nice...

This by far was one of the worst experiences my family and I have ever had. When we arrived at 8:40 pm we went to place a pretty simple order with chicken tacos and they said they didn’t have any chicken. So my husband placed his order because it was his birthday choice meal and my son and I were just going to have chips and quest. Once he had his order in I was told we could only order our chicken tacos only if we went online and placed the order for pick up. So we sat down placed a pick up order so we could eat together as a family. During the visit through the line not one employee made eye contact or even tried to communicate appropriately. Our chips were stale. And the tables and floors were so full of food and garbage it was horrible. About 10 min into our meal the employee started to wipe tables down and pick chairs up to close down. It was 9:10. Pm. On the door it says closes at 10pm. I will never come back into this location. This establishment just does not get it - have always stopped here on my way home from Chicago - I travel all over the Midwest and I am a big Chipotle fan - yet I will never ever go to the Chipotle Valparaiso store again - notice my last three visits that they started measuring (mentally) their portions of rice, beans, veggies, etc. - stopped by today and I am done - the Young Lady was very corgial & professional - but she has been programmed to screw their customers - she stated my bowl by shaking off the excess Brown Rice - so I challenged her and asked for a little more being polite and asking by using the word please - she said sure - it was 25 pieces - I had to smile - then she totally skimped on my meat, veggies, beans, sour cream, cheese etc. - there is no doubt that ownership or management is driving this specific attitude - have never had this happen at any other locations - just Valparaiso - and it has happened 4 times in a row - DONE - will take my business across the street to Qdoba - for a $9.00 chicken bowl - this...
