The people are nice but service was a nightmare. It took 5-6 weeks to get our engagement and wedding ring set instead of the 14 days. It took them a week to realize they ordered the wrong rings at the store and wanted us to pay $190 more because it was somehow our fault and was trying to get my girlfriend to approve the added purchase on my credit card which is fraud. Then when i call the next day it turned out the actual amount was $217 more. Then 1-2 weeks later she gets a call saying they weren't able to order the rings from another store and had to order them online and that they would take $400 of for the inconvenience. 2 weeks later they are finally ready and when we get the new receipts we find out they took $400 off because they didn't do the stuff they said they were going to do when they were resizing them. So it was taking money off for services they were didn't do but were supposed to. Didn’t want to go through the financing so my fiancé put money on layaway and came back two weeks later to pay the rest off. Was told when we came back that in fact the ring they had wasn’t the exact one we had wanted shipped and it was gonna cost more. When asked why we weren’t told it wasn’t the exact ring they had nothing to say for themselves called corporate and they admitted what had happened but said they couldn’t do anything for us. Fraudulent is what that is. Would never ever recommend this Kay store. The one in the mall and others are at least forthcoming with accurate information...

Got a call after they had it for over a week and said they couldn't size a ring with yellow diamonds, and they would be returning my ring. Two weeks later I'm still awaiting for them to return my ring that they couldn't even work on. I called to see where my ring was, was told it was on the invoice but not in the shipment box, and that they would return my call after they called the maintenance department. Found out my ring got shipped to Kentucky, and now I have to wait for it to get back to our Indiana store. I was a very loyal Kay customer.
