@James, as the owner of FHS Valpo, I'm sorry you didn't love your sandwich. We do give much more meat than the competition, a full 1/4 pound on a medium or Hearty and Flavorful, and a full 1/2 pound on a large. Depending on which sandwich you ordered there may be a ton of toppings or a few, but you can always add or take away anything!

The sandwiches are served HOT, but we don't toast the meat...that will dry it out! We steam the meats and cheeses to lock in the natural juices and flavor, then we lightly toast the roll.

Unlike the competition, we also use USDA choice meats, which are also sliced fresh daily in our store.

All of our veggies are cut fresh daily as well, with the exception of the sauteed mushrooms. -- Our sandwiches range from just under $6 to just under $9 depending on the sandwich and size. Our combos include a medium 32oz drink or bottled drink, and a chip or cookie. You could upgrade to a brownie, side salad, or chili as well.

We have many toppings you can add to any speciality sandwich that are not in the "recipe" or you can build your own. We also have chili, and salads that have a ton of toppings and we use 100% Romaine lettuce in the salads. Again, you can add more toppings to the salads.
