This was the second time here and probably the last. First time we got bao buns and wraps and they were all pretty good, aside from the shrimp in one that was mini frozen shrimp that wasn’t great. This time we ordered from 3 places and the majority was not good and some of the order was wrong even though we ordered inside and checked over the order before finalizing it. It seemed as if there was one girl doing everything and one guy who was trying his best to take orders but must have been new. The food looked and tasted like it was microwaved meals. My meal was totally wrong and it didn’t even look appetizing, i was supposed to get chicken teriyaki and it ended up being something like Mongolian beef, so I ate my bao buns that were ok but I was given the wrong ones from what I ordered. Everything else really just wasn’t good. My son barely touched his chicken, it was actually hard to eat. I tried a piece and it was very tough, so he ended up eating some fries for dinner. And my husband ate his gyro because he couldn’t stand wasting all the food. We spent over $50 and sadly most of the food went in the trash. We were so excited about this place, but honestly I don’t think there are any chefs there cooking… more like their food is just getting reheated by one girl doing it all. I really wanted this place to be great, but we were really disappointed this...

There is fairly unique establishment here in Valparaiso that we have tried a couple of times before. The first time was an Ethiopian vendor, and the last time with cuisine from India. Neither were bad experiences but it did leave us a bit apprehensive. More misses than hits. But this time...
The establishment that I am referring to is The Lincoln Kitchen. It's uniqueness lies in that it is not simply one restaurant offering many cuisines but a roof under which different vendors can assemble to present their particular offerings. Currently there are over 11 vendors ranging from smash burgers to Mediterranean to Korean BBQ to pizza packs. They do have some seating but it is predominantly carry out.
My wife was pretty much locked in with the Korean Chicken Sando from Mang's Bao Boutique (right). The best chicken sandwich ever? According to her, I'd say so! The fresh cut fries were well above par also!
I wanted to go Mediterranean, so I went with the Bowl option from Evil Eye Mediterranean Kitchen. Greens base, chicken shawarma, red onions, red cabbage, Mediterranean pickles, tomato, and cucumber for the veggies, spicy hummus and Baba Ganoush 😋 (left). A "salad" to...
Read moreI've eaten food from here twice and it deserves about 3.5 stars as prepared as the shop. The first time I ordered the super all meat (recommended). It was a lot of food, but it was somehow still bland. I decided to try again because their other subs sounded like they had a bigger variety than 4 types of pork on one sandwich. Tastes better as a leftover later in the day. The 2nd time I got the highly recommended BBQ beef. The bottom of the roll was cold, hard, and dry. I'm not sure how it stayed hard despite being topped with hot beef, but it did. For the quality of the bread, it was expensive. The meat tasted good but I think more work needs to be done to up the quality of the sandwiches overall. Maybe I just got a stale bun but that should have been noticeable while preparing it. Note, I ordered takeout and ate in the car right outside, so it wasn't that the bun had time to get hard in the 4 minutes it sat on the counter (and the meat was hot anyway). Not sure Id return for another sandwich here
Edit: I reheated (in the oven) the leftover half of BBQ beef sandwich the next day. This made it much better. I think warming or toasting the bread a little would help the restaurant's...
