I would NOT give any stars if it was an option.Worst experience EVER at the Hazel Dell location! Open signs on yet everything is locked. The clerk standing at one of the doors was on her phone and mouthed we're closed while continuing on her phone. Called and asked to speak with the manager to inform them the info on line said they are open later than what they actually were. The lady was extremely rude and said I could call and talk to the manager tomorrow she is usually here in the morning.when I asked what time would be good she said she won't be there, she's only in early during the week. When I asked for her name so I could discuss the situation with (shawna the manager) she said why and what for rudely again. I called Monday morning to talk with the manager and the voicemail was so full I couldn't leave a message followed by the clerk saying she wasn't in yet again. Called back Tuesday and spoke with shawna and told her how horrible her staff was with customer service and that I called a different location, spoke with a manager who informed me im not the first person to say these things he hears it all the time! He offered to send an email and ask them to contact me and still nothing. She apologized and informed me she is a new manager and she is AWARE they are having problems and offered to give me a meal up to $10 dollars. I informed her I didn't want anything I wanted to speak with someone higher up because this was not the first bad expierience at this location. She offered the Baja Fresh comment site and gave me the store location# so I could voice my opinion. I tried and the number she gave me did not work. I called back immediately telling her maybe I wrote it down wrong. She said I don't know why it's not working I'm looking at a receipt now and that's what is says!!! Rude yet again with the third person. I informed her she should tell her general manager/owner to give me a call before I voice my opinion and it reflects badly on them. That was two weeks ago!!!! I would rather drive across town or NEVER eat at Baja again than experience this every time I visit. My money is more appreciated elsewhere. This could have been so simple and no big deal if they had said I will speak with the people involved and see what I can do to make sure the times are correct. NOPE! I believe shawna said the GM/owner's name was Lisa. If it is Lisa (or whoever you are) you are not very good at your job if this is how your staff treats people and you can't take 5 minutes out of your day. Thanks for nothing Baja #BAJAFRESH...
Read moreI have been getting food to go from this Baja Fresh restaurant for many years. Up until about 2 years ago, it was always great....clean, the staff were very friendly and food was very good. I'm not sure what happened in the last couple of years but it seems that there was almost an overnight change of staff and management. I didn't recognize any of the new staff and the atmosphere was less friendly. The real kicker for me, though, was the quality of the food seemed to have declined. And a few times I would get home to find they'd given me the wrong items (i.e. black beans instead of pinto or steak instead of chicken burrito, etc.). I would drive back to show them their mistake and have the order corrected and they would grudgingly fix the order without so much as an apology. The last time I ordered food (approximately a couple of months ago), I think they had dragged someone in off the street to be the cook. She "created" a chicken burrito out of a mixture of vegetables and beans. It didn't even come close to resembling what their usual chicken burrito is. I got home and unwrapped it and promptly took it back. I didn't even take a bite of it yet they acted like I had eaten half of it and wanted a refund. Very rude. No apology. I haven't been back since and won't be going back. So sad. I used to really enjoy this place but management has let it decline to such a degree that I'm surprised...
Read moreI’ve been going to this place for years, especially the Hazel Dell location, and I’ve always been super happy with what I ordered! I always order the nachos I can’t get enough of it lol I never get tired of it I would argue that it’s the best nachos I’ve ever tasted. I wish people writing out reviews would be more thoughtful and logical with what they’re saying. I see some comments about how just on one occasion their food didn’t taste as good and the pico de gallo is cut too small, too big and yada yada. People at this fast food place work hard and they are certainly great people, I’ve always had a great interaction with them. As someone who has worked with food, sometimes prep is different depending on the morning crew and it’s going to be different but just remember that they deal with so much throughout the day and this applies to every fast food worker out there who genuinely tries their best. Anyways I didn’t mean to go on that rant there I just appreciate y’all for all that you do and I hope you guys get treated...
