I lived in Tijuana for 2 years so I have had my fair share of Birria. This place is pretty good. They add tomatoes to the guacamole which to me is all kinds of unnecessary. However, some people are into that kind of thing. I had the birria fries and quesabirrias. My son had the birria tacos. Tacos are 5/5: good authentic flavor, consome on the tortillas (a lil heavy handed on the onions but again some people dig that) tortillas were good, they don't skimp oh the meat which is always appreciated. The birria fries were 3/5. The fries were soggy which kinda created this greassy cheesy sludge that congealed at the bottom, the portion and birria were good but execution was a little lacking. Ordered a supreme burrito, added guacamole. Ordered a side of chips and guac. I should’ve checked the bag before I left because they gave me queso and chips instead of guac and chips. The queso was congealed and not good. The burrito was very good - except they didn’t add guacamole and there was hardly any sour cream or pico, which was such a bummer. The receipt showed all the right info so I’m not sure how they messed it up.
