Pregame Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Vancouver

They promote themselves as being family friendly which is why my family decided to try them out since we have 3 kids. My husband and I work, so we didn’t arrive until around 7:15pm. No one told us that it’s only kid friendly until 8, yet, we didn’t get our food until 7:50. We weren’t told until 7:59 that it was time for us to go. We were all still eating but made to feel very unwelcome. The owner came and told us we weren’t supposed to be there, she said she’d let us finish our food but that we needed to hurry. A couple minutes later, the waitress brought us boxes, encouraging us to leave. The owner had just came and asked us how we were doing about 15min prior and didn’t mention that we had to leave soon. It was all very bizarre. I didn’t even finish my food and we were out of there by 8:04. I get it that they’re only kid friendly until a certain time, perfectly fine, but the fact that we weren’t told and then asked to leave right after we got our food is ridiculous. First time trying this place tonight. We were looking for something kid friendly to take my 7 year old. When we first walked in I wasn’t so sure. It felt like an old school bar and everyone looked at us as we came in. We were the only ones with a kid with us. Felt out of place. We walked through and to the back outside area. It’s a huge area with tables and a kids play area in the back. We decided to stay and give it a try. The food was delicious except for the steak bites. My burger was one of the best I’ve had though. Kids meal was decent size and great price at $6. My husband loved his chicken and bacon wrap. Fried pickles were yummy and perfect ranch for dipping. It’s kid friendly until 8pm. The owner was on top of service and made sure everyone was taken care of. They just opened up in the summer. So it looks like they have a lot of plans for continuous improvements and events. Was 5 star review until the owner tried to kick some Mexicans out over a game of rules we all understood owner/her interaction changes calm to violence on approach accusations of free drinks… smh the owner had 4 shorthand a game of pool. Gl whatever else the game is.

Update cut off and kicked out permanently again for playing pool And buying others drinks. What bad business.. I’m the most mellow guy ever…. Btw 2 drinks in and cut off…. Hmm I work nights and had woke up 1.5hr before to go shopping and get other stuff done…

trust issues and no people skills.. this business will ultimately fail.. 99 saloon is way chill and two blocks away has pool and music.. so nothing special about this overrated bar..btw 99 has the best food…
