Big Town Hero — Restaurant in Vancouver

Today was my first time at big town hero. It my wife's favorite sandwich place. I was excited to try a new place, especially after my wife had boasted all about how great it was. She got TBA sandwich, and I got the 3 meat hero. For spending almost 20 dollars for a custom sandwich meal, I would've gladly spent my money at a jersey mikes, a subway, or spent the extra few bucks and gone to phily bilmos! The service was great, but the amount of meat given for a 3 meat sandwich was way below sub par. I got as much meat as a 5 dollar foot long turkey sub at subway. Very disappointed in the sandwich. 1 and done with big town hero. I now understand why I've never really heard of anyone talking about them. Even my wife was disappointed and said " this isn't like the one from the Milwaukee location ". A big bummer all around. Spend the extra few dollars and go get a real sandwich from Philly bilmos down the street, or pay half and get another mediocre sandwich for half...

I paid for an order online as the website showed that they were open until 7. When I arrived to pick it up, there was a sign on the door saying that they had closed early. I sent an email requesting a refund and letting them know what had happened. They never responded to the email, so I called to follow up several days later. It has now been nearly two weeks and I still have not received a refund, so I have had to email again. The sandwiches are good here, but what should have been a simple correction has become unnecessarily...

Oh my gosh, how I've missed BTH!! Im so glad they came back to town! My husband and I got our favorite subs (Turkey, Bacon, Avocado & Turkey Berry Cream cheese) annnd yep, they were just as great tasting as I remember back in the day!! Everything was fresh. The customer service was great. The establishment is a little on the small side with just a few tables, but it was very clean. A little slow getting sandwiches out but it was really busy and they are still really newly opened. I can see us coming back...
