Went with a coworker and first impression was that the car ahead of us was more important than what I was. The coffee guy, which is weird even typing, was just chit chatting with the car ahead of us, not paying attention and it probably wasn't deliberately but if you are going to get enthusiastic about people that you service at the job you have, be enthusiastic about everything and everyone! I think we got a couple of sentences and continued to get the coffee. It may have been the actual driver that was, in my coworkers opinion taking his sweet time on purpose, but again the same way of talking to the barista which ends up delaying the order was epic and I don't think it's bad cause I'm guilty of it, but if you have a line, no choice but to move it along with the quickness. To compare the enthusiasm for the car in front and the car I was in was a 3 compared to at least a solid 8. We did get a hello, but the side conversation with the other barista was clearly the winner, which is not the best choice. Something about a guy that was constantly calling her and she was really annoyed. Clear that the age gap is real. Would I come back here? Probably not. I've come here two times in the last two weeks and this experience happened but more than that when I order a chocolate raspberry mocha, and do not say anything about wanting it cold, or iced, make sure it's hot! I didn't even drink the whole thing which is unusual even for me. Maybe I'll give it another shot but it will be a little while before I enthusiastically choose to go to this Dutch Bros; and yes I am...
Read moreI loved this Dutch Bros and went there often. Staff there were very friendly. But my last visit was not pleasant. Their dining area was just open for walk-in. Because the drive-thru was very long and I saw people were coming out from the coffee shop. So I parked my car and walked in with a mask. No customer but me. I ordered my simple hot small coffee. I stood there and waited for over 10 min. There were over 10 staff joking and chatting around. Still no coffee for me. Until they switched the barista. The new barista asked me if I ordered yet. Of course I did. And she asked what it was. So apparently my order was lost somehow between the tablet and the espresso machine...lol Again, nobody there but me! She hurriedly made my order and apologized for the wait. The coffee was not that hot maybe because it was hurried. So, these two stars were for the barista who cared enough to finally ask me what I ordered. I didn't add a tip when the cashier asked me, so not sure it that upset her. Now, I know...do the drive-thru only and please tip them, so I'd get my coffee fast and...
Read moreNo walk-up window and they don't serve pedestrians at the drive-thru window when the lobby is closed. I got off a long shift and it was still hot out even after 7pm (the time lobby closes). Really could have used an iced drink while I was walking home from the bus stop in the sweltering heat (least I had my water so I wouldn't die, but a treat after a long work-week still would have been nice), but "no window-service unless you're in a car because it's part of our policy". I call B.S. Plus, the girl at the window who explained all this to me did so as if I was mentally challenged (talking slowly and making hand-movements as if I've never been at a drive-thru in a car before) and looked at me like I was either a bum or a tweaker (because I had a backpack, I'm guessing?). I will stick with the other locations that actually do have walk-up windows during all business hours. Thank you...
