Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Vancouver

I don't usually give this low of ratings (actual rating: 2.75), but boy... I did not enjoy my experience. The food is decent... Nothing to write home about. It was the workers and flow that really ruined the experience for me. First, there's no indication as to where I order and where the line starts. Easy improvement to make. Second, half the drinks were out of order, and the tables weren't clean. It just felt like they didn't care about upkeep. Third, the employees were not nice. From start to finish we experienced a guy who rolled his eyes at us while trying to figure out the menu (it was our first time), two employees flirting while we tried to complete our order, and another employee yelling at us to get our attention about a sandwich when we were just 5 feet away. That may not bother some people, but it definitely put a damper on my own experience.

Look, I recognize this was a personal experience and others have likely experienced something else. In either case, I won't be going back. I can get the same or better quality food elsewhere with a much better experience.

Jersey Mike’s is delicious. I actually switched from Subway to their sandwiches because their proportions are so big very good food but very poor service other than the manager that was in there the first time I ever ate there. Every employee has been disrespectful uncoordinated and lazy there was a young man who was working the register who is doing an absolute incredible job And he was working 4 different persons positions while trying to get his superiors to help him out, they all love to hang out in the back and let other people do their jobs and their communication skills are subpar. Very disappointed as I’ve never experienced this with subway. My overall impression of their work is there lazy the food is fantastic and that’s the only reason we continue to get food there, BUT WE WILL NOT CONTINUE TO SPEND OUR HARD EARNED MONEY IF THERE GONNA MAKE OUR ORDERS WRONG, NOT LISTEN AND ACT LIKE A BUNCH OF...

Every time I go to this Jersey Mikes, I always walk away like...this is the friendliest, most caring group of employees I have ever encountered in this type of food chain stop in restaurants. I mean these guys are consistently kind, friendly, attentive and you just get the feeling that they want you to feel welcome and to have a good day. I just had to stop everything today and write a review about the genuine smiles, the calm and friendly demeanor of this staff. There are many times I go to a food chain only never to revisit because the staff seem to hate their jobs as well as everyone who walks in the door, so no matter how much I like their product I simply do not return. Such is not the case with Jersey Mikes on Mill Plain. I feel like they understand how to appreciate the opportunity to serve others and that they are just a group of good people.
