It’s unfortunate that businesses in the customer service industry, can not employ people who understand customer service. This evening we placed an online order, and the rack for that has been moved to a back wall, it is no longer up front on the counter as it used to be (nor is there a label, pointing out pick up orders). That being said, I walked in and was not greeted, there was an older man there waiting in the area where the pick up orders used to be. There was a young lady waiting to have her order taken, and a couple who walked through the door after me. Not one of us was greeted, and the workers chose to not acknowledge any of us who were waiting… myself and the older gentleman could have been done and on our way had the workers acknowledged our presence, we could have asked where the online orders were and they could have directed us to them. They chose to completely ignore all of us, & the lady waiting to place her order and instead asked the couple for their order, when the lady was clearly there and waiting before them. I went back to my car, and explained what was happening to my gf, she came in and saw the rack for pick up orders, at the back of the store grabbed our bag and we left. We watched from the car as the older man who was there before me went and grabbed his bag. While the people waiting to place their order all still waited to put in their order with both employees not speaking to any customers (more like they were trying to avoid them). When we arrived home we found they had not made our order correctly. Rather than call or go back to correct it, we will be sure to stick to going to the Mill plain location. The supervisor @Millplain who’ve we’ve seen a few times, makes our visit so pleasant and everyone there greets their customers, and communicates that they will be with us soon if they’re all busy. I replied well I am not sure, I don’t know anything about jersey mikes menu. I try to ask him questions about the menu and I get a few Huh’s And him looking around like he is not interested. There was a young girl standing close and she spoke up and started to help me and she took over. So I asked her if there was a sub that was an original that they started with because I like to try original menu items. She pointed out a turkey sub I think it was #7 or 8. I said great let’s do that one. I ordered a giant to share with my fiancé. So we stood there watching her get ready to cut the meat. And that same kid now standing at the register says you can pay for it now. I replied are you in a hurry? I was watching her make the sandwich. He replied oh she is going to be a while. So I walked over to the register and got my debit card out and asked him how the topping work. He replied about what’s on the sandwich getting it jersey mikes way. I replied to him that all that sounds great but I don’t want any onion and very light mayo. He replied to me oh you can repeat all that to her when she’s ready. Really? I asked. So what’s wrong with you telling her I don’t want onion and very light mayo. By this time she had already spread the sandwich with plenty of mayo. It was only me in the restaurant so I stepped away from the register about 5 feet away to take a deep breath lol and he yells at me across the counter and says so are you going to pay for this now. I walked out and 1000% guarantee I won’t be back ever again to experience that mediocrity. I ordered online several hours before the pick up time, I got there to pick up my order that was supposed to be done by 5:15 p.m by 6:11 P.m I had been ignored, then lied to ignored lied to again and at that point pissed! I had online ordered over $170.00 worth of sandwiches, chips and drinks and now I was late for the meeting those items were supposed to be provided for, which was for my company, clients and colleagues! Now This was the second time and the last time this would ever happen to myself, or any of my colleagues because at this point we have all agreed to never order or step foot in a Jersey Mike’s ever again, that whole ordeal kept up all in a meeting for an hour longer than any of us planned for due to my hour wait there on top of the additional time have to order else where and then the BS having to be refunded! Come on now how unprofessional I watched them serve 32 people that had come through that line while I waited and was ignored and told my order was the next one up! So now I had to cancel my order because they had not even started it. That whole time I was lied to! It’s was 6:18 P.M over an hour. So I then left walked into Jimmy John’s, placed my order and never to return to Jersey. Mike’s.
