Let me give an honest review here becuase I have been going to Lindo for over 3 years straight now. First and foremost this restaurant is one if the best places I have ever been, their service is excellent, their waitstaff I have become personally acquainted with over the years and I absolutely love them. Sweet people who love working their. The owner is one of the kindest most humble person I have ever met. He personally will see to it that your food and experience are excellent. I have been served by the owner multiples times and he sets the bar for excellence in serving and ownership. It truly is like a family here, the food is second to none, it is excellent. I had the shrimp enchiladas last night (again) with a quesadilla and it was in every way perfect. Their sauces are exquisite not salty or store bought, everything is home made, I cant say enough how about awesome this place is. After three years this place is so consistent no matter what day or time. Food has always been perfect. Have prices risen a little over the years? Yes it's called inflation guys we live in America it's how it goes get used to it. Still worth every penny and their prices are extremely competitive. Who ever said this place is expensive is obviously not used to sit down restaurants. Lindos prices are more than fair for what you get. Please come support this business, it needs to stay for a long time. To much good stuff and energy here cant wait to go back!!!!
PS: to the people here giving one stars saying this food is gross please stop lying, look at all the 5 star reviews and pictures of food!! This place is one of the freshest I have ever been to. These random one star reviews are not accurate and I love this place and hate to see it being spammed...
Read moreMy daughter and I went to this restaurant this week, and both got food poisoning from it. While we were there, I noticed the restaurant was warm inside, there was a floor fan going, and the place smelled heavily of mold. I asked to be seated outside on their patio due to this, but was told I could not due to the rest of the staff not being there yet (though the place was mostly empty of customers). The menu was grimy and did not feel clean. There was damage from water and cracks all along the old ceiling panels.
We should have left before ordering due to the unclean environment, but I held out hope due to the good reviews the place had. The rice was overcooked and bland, the beans seemed to be from a can, and all of the food had a weird smell to it. I ordered an iced tea with lemon, and I could only have a sip of it as it tasted toxic. I’m not sure if that was due to it being old, something wrong in the recipe, etc, but I didn’t drink any of it. I ordered my daughter an orange juice, and they brought her an apple juice. We barely ate our food due to the low quality of it.
The service in general was subpar, even though the restaurant only had two other customers in it.
The place has seriously questionable health and safety standards based off of what we experienced, and I can not recommend this...
Read moreThis place is a hidden treasure for sure! You can't see the restaurant from the road and once you pull into the parking lot it looks pretty small, but when you walk in, it is a really nice setup, with soothing, nice music (I don't know if this is just a Saturday thing, but they had a guy there playing guitar when we went). My husband and I both agreed that this would be a perfect spot for a date.
The menu is packed with choices, and the food is AMAZING! Their chips are good, and salsa is pretty good too (great flavor, but runny, so if you like it to be totally chunky you may not like it so much). Thier shrimp and carnitas are probably the best I have had at a Mexican restaurant. And I am usually not a big fan of Bea a in general, but they had some beans in the dish that I got that were PHENOMENAL. I mean they were so good that the 3 other people who were with me table kept "tasting" them.
I got the El Mojave or something like that. It's one of their house specials and I have never been so excited about a meal at a Mexican restaurant as I was when I tried this stuff. It even had cactus (my first time ever trying it) and came out in a hot stone dish. It was REALLY good and again, the beans that came with it were seriously amazing. And everyone loved their dishes; it was seriously all...
