I wish I could give this establishment a negative review.
My husband and I got married this Saturday August 23, 2025. Our sibilings, best friends, and ourselves (who are all major nerds and were super excited for a chill experience after a long day) had been planning to come here after the wedding to play some video games and have a couple drinks before bed. To be fair we walked in with 16 people but we were well aware all of us would not be seated together prior to even coming in. We also again went in with the full intention to play a few games and have a couple drinks. As we entered the building we were very rudely and immediately approached by a gentleman who told us he was not willing to accommodate us and we needed to leave. He made it very clear we were not welcome. We had barely got in the building! We tried to explain to the gentleman and the woman behind the bar that we just wanted to chill and were happy to split tables and didn't expect immediate service with our big party. Both the rude female bartender and the rude gentleman who approached us just continued to tell us we needed to leave. Three of our friends were already there playing games at a couple of computers - a few people walked over to let them know we were leaving and our whole party wasn't welcome. One of our friends was okay to stay and play games? But the other 2 people at the computers were told that if they were in our party they had to leave.
Additionally there were maybe 7-8 other people total in the bar - this place was dead. I don't understand why they weren't willing to accommodate us. Again we were just looking to wind down before bed and walked from our hotel to chill down here.
Nevertheless the bartenders on staff missed out on an isane amount of money (hundreds of dollars that we all got out just to have a nice night here after all the great reviews we saw before). Our friends at the computers let us know they were having a nice time until the bartenders became totally rude to them as well - they lost all tips from them too for their sudden crappy attitudes.
Luckily we spent all our money somewhere else and had a great time before bed!!
If you don't walk in with a tiny group on a dead Saturday night apparently don't bother coming here. Unless you want to be talked to with complete disrespect and get immediately kicked out...
Read moreI discovered Vault just before the pandemic 'closed the world' in February of 2020. The staff was polite, the food was good but could use a little improvement, but all in all we had a great time.
I continued to go over the last year and a half. The food now... AMAZING. Get yourself a Chipotle Chicken Sammich, a Whole Hog Pizza... OK really get. Anything. On the menu! I go as often as I can for several reasons. 1. The FAMILY running this bar is fantastic, welcoming and knowledgeable. 2. It doesn't FEEL like a bar. It's not loud, obnoxious and have hammered people all over. 3. They all support local, they care genuinely about the community and our health. They have done a phenomenal job making sure they meet the requirements in place because of the pandemic. I can't even imagine the stress that has caused and they have risen to the occasion with grace and class.
Seeing these reviews about bad service, closed on Sundays... Blah blah blah... I've never been in and seen any one treated badly and I know with out a doubt that I never will. Uh yeah... They are closed on Sunday... Do you get a day off from work? They do too. It's not a sports bar, it's a gamer bar! Being upset because they are at capacity ALL THE TIME... Stop just for a second and think about that. That speaks volumes about the bar. They hit capacity daily... Why... Because they are truly just that amazing!
So, if you are looking for a place to go that cares if you are safe, will make sure you have a great time and will cook you some amazing food... Vault is the place to go. Order some food to go if they are at capacity and you can still enjoy the greatness that is vault at home!
Don't forget to checkout cookie Mccakeface their sister company... Because listen... Best cookies ever... Hands down.
Vault 31, has and will always have my complete support. Running a business isn't always sunshine and rainbows running a business in a pandemic... Rough. You have all risen to the challenge and those of us who truly know you know that 5stars isn't enough, you deserve millions.
Thank you for building a safe place for us all to come nerd out, enjoy some great food, drinks and impeccable service safely!
Hug...
Read moreI’ve been to this bar multiple times and I’ve never been charged for a cover to play the games since I have proof of vaccination until about three days ago when I went with my partner.
We both did not want an alcoholic drink but wanted to play games and both knew that if we had proof of vaccination that we wouldn’t be charged the cover, but I decided to go ahead and buy some candy anyways. When we got to the bar and had our IDs checked the bartender told us that we had to order a drink. When I asked if we could share a Coke, she said yes but in a weird way.
Then two seconds later a guy comes around and says that we have to buy something because they have to “make money somehow” or pay the game cover. I am frustrated because I am clearly already buying a coke and candy and ask what else I need to buy and he says a drink or else we’d have to pay the game cover. My partner mentioned that the bartender said that it would be ok for us to just order and share the coke but then she denied it and said she never said that. At this point me and my partner were frustrated and decided not to pay the game cover, however this is the first time we’ve been flat out denied playing the games despite having the proof of vaccination.
The staff were not friendly and my partner and friends and I will not be returning. My partner and I are both POC and I believe that had something to do with this experience. That’s really the only conclusion I could come up with since we both had our ID, vaccination cards and was purchasing something. Do better and hire...
