I was excited at first when a new location opened near me. The first few visits actually weren't that awful but I knew it was new and training would need to happen. I can confidently say now I'm not going back to this location, I would suggest spending the extra 10 minutes and go to the one on fourth plain. Two biggest complaints - first is portions are usually underwhelming. For example tonight I got a bowl with sweetfire chicken and white rice. I got a total of 4 pieces of chicken. Four, and those pieces weren't even big. The second complaint are the wait times after 6pm. Again I tried to give some patience but 4 weeks in a row I've gone my average time to get my food is 30 minutes. Today's visit was almost 45 minutes. There was 4 cars ahead of me in the drive-thru. That means you are averaging 1 car per 11 minutes. How on God's green earth does it take 11 minutes to fulfill ONE order? When I came to the window I saw 3 men working the line, so definitely not short staffed. There is something very fundamentally wrong here and after waiting 45 minutes to have 4 pieces of chicken I am now still hungry, frustrated, and writing a stupid review for a fast food chain. Read moreI’ve been a regular at Panda Express and usually leave satisfied, but my recent visit was incredibly disappointing. It honestly felt like the quality has gone way downhill. The grilled chicken I received tasted awful — almost like it had chemicals or something off in it. It was so bad that my husband ended up with a stomachache shortly after eating. I’ve never had Panda food taste this bad before.
To make matters worse, the portion sizes were ridiculously small. For $10 a plate, I expected a proper meal, not something that looked half-filled. I had to ask for more just to get a decent amount of food, and even then, it still wasn’t right. It seemed like the staff were all new and unsure of what they were doing — just scooping minimal amounts without any care.
Between the poor food quality and the skimpy portions, I’ve decided I won’t be returning to this location — or maybe even Panda Express at all. This visit really soured...
Read morePoor servings. I ordered a 3 Entree + side standard order. The first entree was doubled down to keep it simple (it was only 1.25 to upgrade). Well, for the 1st entree which was Beijing beef included 5 tiny pieces of beef and a sh** ton of onion chunks...Poorly cut base pieces I'll add. I am okay with having some veggies but I paid for meat and got a really meager amount for my doubled down entree. They were nice enough to place my orange chicken in a separate little box because I assumed I'd have leftovers for lunch which is why I said 3 entree meal, but alas I'm trying to figure out how to eat an entire onion sliced up as an "entree'. Not happy with the value here... They need to learn how to portion food. I want my 1.25 back at least so that I feel like I didn't pay for a non-existent entree (dude talked us into upgrading). Yeah.
