Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Vancouver

Horrible service!!!!! . My sister did not include this entire situation that happened . The delivery girl asked to see the card we were paying with after already going to the wrong home and my sister did not feel comfortable showing her her card but said said she had her ID . Which this is never even asked for from anywhere else I order a dang pizza from by the way. Regardless she then gave attitude and said “if you don’t show my your card your not getting your pizza” and then saying that she knows where we live!!! We told her to leave our house. We called the manager and they stated it’s “ policy” . I’ve never heard of this . Regardless my sister then asked for her money back and the manager stated “that’s not how it works”. When I called to make sure that money was being refunded the lady who answered was VERY rude. She didn’t let me finish talking . As soon as I said my sisters name she interrupted and told me the refund was being made and it took up to 7 business days. I then raised my voice because I didn’t appreciate the way she interrupted me and stated I wanted to make sure since we were told “that’s not how it worked “ she then proceeded to say yes you’re getting that refund and hung up! I always order from this place, they know me by name and order, very respectable, friendly and helpful employees, They are even willing to work with certain orders that need tweaking for certain individuals. I can understand their delivery timing being an issue because the parking lot they're located at is very small and close to other businesses that need a great deal of parking, so they often have to park in odd situations, they are definitely not slow, I've seen them run from their cars and back with deliveries to keep on time. I know there are some people that think that just because the service is not exactly how they want it, it means the whole thing is terrible, this place does their best to cater to customers, even entitled ones. But If you're looking for food with perfect timing then you shouldn't be ordering delivery in the first place, people seem to forget delivery drivers face traffic and other driving issues just like everyone else who drives, they can't summon a magic road that goes straight to your location ignoring every stop light, crosswalk and traffic jam between them and you and their store.

Ordered delivery with an estimated 30 min window, and after 1 hour and 10 minutes - I called to store, the girl that answered said they had some sort of emergency and had to evacuate the store and are about 3 hours behind schedule. I asked her what that meant for my order - she said she didn't know. I asked her to please check on an ETA for my specific order, she put me on hold and then came back and said, "Oh we are about to put it in the oven now, but it will probably be about another hour and a half before they can deliver. (!) I asked her if she can please cancel the order and get a full refund, she asked if it was an online one, I said yes, and she sounded annoyed and said "I guess I can call and cancel it for you". Look, I can be totally understanding if an emergency happens, but plan to deliver about 3 HOURS AFTER I ORDERED and to not even call your customers to apologize and let them know what is going on and then act kind of put off by them calling you and asking for a refund - I am not only hangry, I am just super annoyed at the level of customer service of this store.
