2 years now, I've been coming here. Its solid and a personal favorite. Food is always on point, consistent, and worth the visit. Came last night and my daughters pho was a little light in the noodles (never have had that happen before) but our waitress was super cool about fixing it for us. I and recommend Pho Gyu to my family and friends.

Been here multiple times from my first posting. My most recent being last nightand it did not disappoint. Pho is amazing. Spicy Pork w Fried rice never disappoints. Love bringing my family and friends here.

Saw that they had a good rating, so we decided to try it. Amazing!! So worth it. My bestie and I shared a chicken rice plate, the hell wings and the rolls. They sincerely were hot wings, perfect for me. The portions were the right size for the two of us, my bestie had a smaller appetite than I, but we both had just exactly enough. Next time we'll try the pho. Update.....came again and brought a party of 8. This time tried the spicy pho and again had to wings from hell, actually 3 plates for the whole table. Amazing and good again. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and few of us were able to finish our plates....

I finally have a favorite restaurant in Ventura: Pho Gyu at 4960 Telephone Road. I was going to photograph the restaurant from the outside as it is quite attractive: light, bright , clean and new, (but I was in such a hurry to get in that I’ll just have to photo their exterior on my next visit) - just like the interior decor & ambiance (see interior pic). Simple clean menu, easy to order and most importantly: DELICIOUS. I started with the Spring Rolls Appetizer (pic below) which after he took my order and input into the computer, was at my table when I returned from washing my hands. And then after only a few bites of the fresh Spring Roll, my entre (Grilled Wagyu Beef vermicelli entre - my first time having Wagyu beef) was served (pic below). DELICIOUS dipping sauce!! I asked for extra for my noodles. This was my first time (I think) ordering a Vietnamese coffee - will not be my last. I told my server, “I can’t wait to come back and order the Wagyu Beef Pho (no tendons for me...

Staff lectured me when I asked for water Waitress asked for drinks and my party just wanted water and ordered our food. After maybe 10-15 minutes, the waitress forgot out water so I asked if I could get some. The staffed raised her tone and lectured me that I have to wait for my order since there are orders ahead of me and it's very busy and my order will come when its my turn! For water?? She said sorry and thought I asked for my food. She was very rude to not listen and assume what I was asking and just lashed at me. Even if a customer asks for the food, she can just give an estimate of when the food will come. She does not need to lecture how ordering and queue works like I was straight up stupid. There were empty tables and a lot of staff was just standing there so there was no reason to act busy and lash out on your customer.

The pho was decent for the price. It was really hot, which was good and bad. You have to wait a bit, but the broth won't be cold when you're...

Few days later, we're ordering from Pho Gyu again! This time we got pho, house special and chicken vermicelli and beef galbi ribs! Really amazed with their pho packaging. Everything was great, we will eventually make our way to dine in one of these days! The name though 😅 . . . Got a promo on Postmates and decided to order delivery from this place. The vermicelli entrees sounded good so we picked the wagyu beef and spicy pork along with an app order of vegetarian egg roll. Packaging looked nice and just to be sure we don't ruin our dinner, we poured the entire container into the largest bowl we have and it was spilling over which means portions are huge! Both the wagyu beef and spicy pork were very tasty and flavorful, All the veggies, especially the herbs combined with pickled carrots plus the vinegary and sweet dressing just tied everything together nicely. Oddly, the egg rolls didn't taste good on their own so we cut them up to mix in the bowl which works great

I visited this Vietnamese restaurant to try some pho, and it didn’t disappoint. Located in the Ventura Gateway Plaza, the restaurant has ample parking, which is a big plus. The ambiance is nice with decent seating, though it was quite busy when we arrived, and we had a short wait before being seated. The staff were friendly and attentive, despite the rush. For appetizers, we ordered the Taro Egg Rolls, which were crispy and flavorful. For our mains, we had the Chicken Pho and the House Special Spicy Pho with brisket. Although the food took a little longer to arrive due to the busy evening, it was worth the wait. The Chicken Pho was light and flavorful, and the Spicy Pho stood out with its rich, flavorful broth and tender meat. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for the price. If you’re in the area and craving pho, this place is definitely worth a visit.
