Room Service Coffee — Restaurant in Ventura

We had been hearing the buzz of Room Service up in Santa Barbara so we had to make the quick little trek to Ventura to try it! We were blown away by the quality, the gorgeous, clean space and the vibey, fun atmosphere. The service was friendly and helpful and the coffee was next level. I had a specialty drink, the sage cappuccino. It was so creamy with amazing flavors and not too sweet (I'm very picky about that, I am no into sweet drinks). My husband had the same drink and absolutely loved it. We had also been dying to try the pastries from Skylar Bryce. I don't think I have ever had a hand pie that good in my whole life! It was so buttery, flaky, cinnamon-sugary-melt in your mouth! It was apple and I can't wait to see if she rotates the fillings! We also had the zucchini bread which was so moist and delicious and the garlic confit sage parmesan biscuit that was mind blowing with a soft chewy garlicky center and a crispy buttery cheesy top. I can't stop thinking about it!!! Can you guys come to Santa...

Wow. It’s been such a fun experience seeing Room Service for the first time at the Makers market and then experiencing their pop ups to now sitting down in their super amazing designed coffee shop. What a thoughtful and elevated experience this coffee shop brings. From stainless steel chairs, screens on their garage doors, sleek and industrial feel, this coffee shop has such an amazing vibe. Not to mention their drinks are actually super super tasty. From their flat white to their signature matcha you can’t have a bad cup here. Plenty of seating and outdoor area to gather and enjoy with friends. Best of luck Room Service this will be the new Ventura staple for sure! Bonus points because a cute young married couple...

The coffee is good. I had the pour over Timor-Leste. I also had a biscuit and a chocolate chip cookie. The biscuit was good. The jam and cold butter that came with it was good. The salt chunks in the butter were not necessary. I found myself trying to dig around them. The cookie was also salted. The texture of the cookie was divine. The flavor of the chocolate was great. There was another flavor(cardamon?) I was not keen on. I probably would not purchase it again due to the salt and the mystery spice. They were having a soft opening when we went. The tables had not arrived yet. I will definitely be back...
