UPDATE: My mom went back to this location today to take down the young girl’s name and the manager’s name so she can escalate the issue. The same manager was there today from the night before and again apologized to my mother for what happened and wanted to talk to her more, informing her that he did fire the young girl worker who refused to take my mom’s order in the drive through. The manager said her behavior was unacceptable and had to let her go. He offered my mom a free meal, in which my mom politely declined but appreciated the offer and decided not to escalate the incident as the manager was very professional and handled the whole situation perfectly.
ORIGINAL POST: My mom just went to this location to grab food to go but was refused service by a young girl who worked the register at the drive through. My mother was having a private conversation in her car talking about the ban of transgender individuals in the military being put in place and how in her opinion is rightfully valid. I know everyone has their own opinions on this and that is their own right. The girl at the drive through window said she is refusing to take my moms order and heard everything she was saying on the phone..my mom asked to talk to the manager and the young girl said she was the manager, however that was not true and my mom again asked for the manager to come. The manager showed up and apologized and took my moms order, however, with how the young worker acted, my mom didn’t feel comfortable eating the food and said she didn’t want it for fear that the girl will spit in the food. My mom also told the manager that the young girl was rubbing her nose constantly and how unsanitary that is especially when working in a restaurant. I cannot believe this happened!!! My mom does plan to escalate this incident further and I hope something can be done, as the behavior of that worker should not...
Read moreI go in at 11:30 and they still haven't dropped a drawer for takeout. My food is literally sitting on the counter in front of me, getting colder and colder as I have to watch the person who packed it go back and deal with the drive thru for the next 3 minutes, then after that, come back and count their drawer before they can ring me out. All the while the food is getting colder and colder. And the manager says, "Sorry but she has to take care of drive thru first.." At 11:30 on a saturday if you dont have a dedicated FOH staff for the register and you tell your customers to deal with it, thats not only highly irresponsible, but it makes me not wanna eat your food anymore.
I've been here four times, and this time after dealing with the manager I feel compelled to make this review. The timing at this location in terms of getting food out of the door was always bad, but making customers feel like bad people for watching their food go cold for 5+ minutes due to bad planning is atrocious. Today 6/14 I went inside this time to pick up my online order. I checked everything since I was picking up for my boyfriend and I. We just got two standard bowls with 6 egg rolls. Nothing crazy or fancy at a table. I didn’t have chow main in mine and my boyfriend didn’t have chicken in his. They gave us 1 egg roll. Now.. I would totally understand if they were low on food. Nope! I went to the counter to tell them they made several mistakes to my order. I saw they had everything at the serving counter FULLY stocked!!! Which pisses me off bc then there’s no excuse for this incompetence. The manager that day played dumb and then eventually gave me what I needed.
