Most of the time that I go to Wendy's it's a mid experience. I don't expect perfection because no one's perfect and it's just food. I often don't even return if my order had a mistake in it unless it's a dietary restriction. But today I ordered food through the app because you get discounts and normally it is such a smooth transaction. For some reason tonight, I ordered the food, 5 minutes later I get up and drive the 8-minute drive down the street and I'm sitting at the line and it's taking forever for the car in front of me and it's because no one had said anything to them. After they drove up I waited at the Speaker box to tell them I had an online order. I was sitting there for about 10 minutes before I realized the app says pull up to the drive-thru if you have them online order. So since no one was talking through the speaker box I drove up to the window, all employees stayed out of view while another went outside in front of me and started smoking. Right outside the door while I was sitting there. Waiting thinking, is this really happening? Then I wait another 5, 6, 7 minutes? Nothing happens. I finally see someone in the room. The other guy from outside comes back and he looks at me like I'm crazy and he says "yes?" and I said "I have a mobile order" and he said "did you tell anyone" and I said "no there was no one there. I sat at the box for 10 minutes and nothing happened so I drove up to get my mobile order" and he said "You have to wait in line like everyone else" and I said "I did wait in line there was a car in front of me. I did wait in line I went to the box, I waited 10 minutes and then nothing happened." And they basically ended it on, I needed to go to the speaker box, wait for them to summon me up to get the mobile order that has been sitting in the restaurant for far longer than any fast food should be sitting. They refused to give me my food, that I already paid for online. They just closed the window. So I went into the app and I canceled the order. Hoping to get a refund and drove all the way home with no food even though the money already came out of my account.
TLDR: I ordered food through the app and employees refused to acknowledge me and refused to give me the food I already paid for because I didn't wait long enough at the Speaker box (Sat in silence for over 10 minutes), They Said I had to wait in line all over again or they would not give me my order. Canceled the order and it definitely soured me on going...
Read moreThis is the WORST Wendy's!!!! Absolutely HORRIBLE, do NOT waste your time, or Money! I just recently started going back... I haven't been there in years because during the pandemic, I ordered a junior bacon cheeseburger, and they gave me a Brunt tasting Orange bacon cheeseburger that was Sooooo nasty. I went back and got a refund.
Here is the Recent update:
Yesterday, I had an issue with the manager at the drive thru window. We ordered two mobile orders very simple, common easy meals to make. He asked us to pull up to the stop sign and wait for our food because he said "it was gonna take a while because we have two orders" what!!!???? So, we pulled up to the stop sign and waited for our food... And as we waited, we watched cars drive off given their food as we waited 15 minutes for our mobile order.
When Manager finally came out to the car... He only had ONE of our mobile orders ready after 15 MINUTES of waiting!!! 2 of our fries were missing and 1 of our burgers were NOT in the bag, we were given the wrong order of chicken nuggets, and most importantly.... The food was COLD!!!!!!!
The burgers weren't even wrapped correctly, It looks like they just threw the burgers in a bag.... Disgusting!!!
I went inside to get a refund and the Manger was taking his sweet time to attend to me. I was waiting for over 15 minutes just for a refund after waiting 15 minutes for my mobile order than was incomplete and missing items.
Inside the restaurant...The workers were not washing their hands, Not practicing hygiene protocols. One time.. there was a worker who had very long nails there working with food, so unsanitary. He definitely needs training.
The manager yesterday was kinda rude, he's VERY Unexperienced. He does NOT know what he's doing at all.
I understand that this is fast food but whenever I want to treat myself.... customers should receive good quality service and clean food, whether this is fast food or NOT!!!
If you order a mobile order, you SHOULD be Priority!!! You should not be waiting on the side for 15 plus minutes.
I don't know what's going on with this Wendy's, but I will not be returning to that particular location. It's horrible!!!!
This Wendy's location always has a line full of cars waiting by the stop sign on the side, they take forever to give customers their food.
They need new management and Training. This is completely...
Read moreOn April 4th, 2019, myself along with some friends organized an outing here to celebrate the 4 For $4 (because April 4th is 4/4). We advertised in our school but didn't know how many to people to expect to come because many took it as a joke. We started promoting it about a month in advance to get as many people as we could to come. About a week before the event we called ahead to let the manager and staff know that there would be a great increase in customers, about 50-75, at the set time (4:00 of course). At the time we couldn't tell if they actually took us seriously because its understandable to think that it was a prank call. When the day finally came we arrived early just to see if they actually prepared for us. To our surprise, there was a large amount of staff on hand and many meals already prepared for order. We let the manager know that we were the ones that she talked to over the phone and that people were going to start arriving shortly. Throughout the entire event they were on track of everything and made orders quick and accurate. The final tally for amount of people that came was a little over 150, way more than we expected but they handled it well and didn't mind the large number of people in and outside the restaurant. We give them many thanks for this because it must have been a little overwhelming at first. To show our thanks we crowdfunded among us to give all the employees a large tip. This was one of the best days of high school for me personally, and I'm sure many others that attended can say the same. We plan to do the same this coming April 4th, 2020, and want to make it an even larger event with more people now knowing that it was a real thing. We all put great amount of effort into making it work and are thankful for the great service we received despite being just a bunch of high school students. The manager here is exceptional and we hope to make this an annual tradition. This was the first time something that large was organized outside of school and it went very successfully so again, we would like to thank the manager, all the employees, Wendy's and everyone who made this possible. See ya April 4th, 2020, 4:00pm, we'll...
