Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Victorville

The management at this location is in serious need of re- evaluation. They have employed the most immature people as shift managers and leads. The managers are all too involved with each other and the level of gossip in that store made me super uncomfortable. The managers engage in rants and gossip about the employees they manage and don’t like. Yesterday, I was the target of that rant. Justifying their actions with superiority and assuming that their title gives them the privilege to degrade and belittle employees that they supervise. The male managers there think it is okay to talk about their “encounters” and personal activities that take place outside of work while on the clock. Not being mindful that they do work with women and that the space is so small in that store that their conversations can be heard by their female employees. At one point one of the male managers had the audacity to try to shame and intimidate a female employee for exclaiming an expression of discomfort at the topic of his conversation. I decided to try Charleys, for the first time, in the Victorville Mall. They were out of onions. (That's a big one for a cheesesteak sandwich) Strike 1. I waited for 20 mins just to order. (Only 3 ppl in front of me) Strike 2. Then when they called order numbers, they they skipped mine! The person apologized and said it would be ready in 5 mins. Then she proceeded to call the next 2 numbers after me! 20 mins went by before I had enough! She asked if I wanted a refund, and that took another 10 mins! After all that I finally got my money back... Minus the hour of my life that I'll never get back. Even more insulting was missing the first half hour of my movie at the cinema next door. She didn't even offer me anything to allay my concerns. I will not let this one bad experience deter me from trying them again. But it will be with some kind of incentives. I've already given too much...

I tried this place for the first time. I ordered online through the app. The time they said it would be done was right on time. When I got it home both me and my parents steak was dry, like it been sitting there getting old and dry by the minute. Then omg the salt that was on it, just terrible I couldn't even eat it. The salt actually made me sick. I wanted to love it but it's a no for me. Maybe if the lay off the salt it will be better. I hope there chicken is not like that.

UPDATE: The owner was nice to give me a credit to try their resuarant again. I ordered the reg Philly sandwich and pepperoni philly sandwich. Both sandwiches was not salty and the meat was not over cooked. It was a good sandwich. Most likey I will be back to try different sandwiches. I am changing my star to three. Just because it needs more meat cheese and veggies. But overall...
