Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Victorville

Ordered from the drive thru and stated I had a coupon. I waited several minutes to pay at the window. When they finally asked for my payment I forgot to give her my coupon. I tell her oh shoot here's the coupon. The manager Rosa tells her in spanish to tell me too bad use it next time... her mistake was assuming bc I am white I didn't understand. I say bs and tell the girl to have her come back to the window. The woman refuses and the girl says that they can't issue a refund bc its on a card. She says I have to call corporate. What would you do in the instance you overrang someone's card? Tell them too bad call corporate to get your $ back? If this is the case it is truly unprofessional. Love the burgers and always friendly staff ,but recently came across something and that is most every fast food place similar to habit charges an average of 50¢ to upsize your beverage here at the habit they want to charge you a 2.19 charge the full price of a soda even though I ordered the number one that comes with a medium sized beverage already and like I told the worker alot of fast food restaurants like mc Donald's you can go order any size drink for 1.00 that even an up charge of a dollar wiywo be a fair price but to charge full prize makes me question about myself about staying a regular customer as I have been since habit has opened in the Victorville update 06/05/21 I was recently here with my grandkids and wasn't very satisfied with my food at all and every table that was supposed to be available for seating was dirty so we ended up sitting at...

First time here. Nice place. The place is surrounded by lots of great eating spots so the parking lot is always full and you may have to walk a bit. I dropped a star because I hate feeling nickel and dimed. The pictures on the menu all show burgers with cheese and next to the picture is the price. What they don't tell you is the price shown is without cheese and cheese is .60 more. A slice of cheese is not .60 unless they are making the cheese themselves. To add a piece of bacon to a burger is $1.30, that's a little outrageous to. I ordered the Teryaki Burger ... it was delicious. Kids loved their food to. Staff is really friendly. If your gonna nail people for .60 for a piece of cheese it needs to go both ways. For example none of us wanted tomatoes or pickles but no money came off the total.
