The food is absolutely amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly and polite. I was truly impressed with the entire experience and can’t wait to go back. I even had the opportunity to meet the owners of the restaurant, who were exceptionally kind. The food is not only delicious but also incredibly healthy. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would! Everything is freshly made, and you can definitely taste the difference. I noticed a negative review with two stars, and after seeing hundreds of positive reviews, I began to wonder what motivated this person to write it. After thinking about it, I believe it’s either a competitor trying to damage their reputation or someone with a personal grudge against them.
Frankly, I dine at restaurants all the time, and I have yet to eat at a Mediterranean restaurant that offers food as good as this place. Next time I visit, I plan to have a conversation with the owners to get to the bottom of it. My best guess is that it’s just a competitor or a disgruntled former employee—similar to what happened at another business I know, where a negative review appeared after the owners let an employee go.
For anyone reading that two-star review, I suggest ignoring it. Given the overwhelming number of positive reviews and my own fantastic experience at this restaurant, the negative review seems entirely false. It’s unfortunate that some unhappy and low life people resort to these tactics. This review is full of red flags that call the credibility of the reviewer into question. The word “honestly” at the beginning is often a telltale sign of dishonesty. People who are truly being honest typically don’t need to preface their statements with “honestly.”
“If you never had good food of this type I’d assume you’d think this place is great.” • This is a deeply condescending statement implying that all the five-star reviewers must not have had real Mediterranean food before. • It assumes that only the reviewer has the proper knowledge of what “good” Mediterranean food is, while everyone else is mistaken or just pure stupid. • This kind of arrogance is another red flag—it suggests that the reviewer has an agenda beyond just expressing an opinion. “For the price and portion I’d go elsewhere.” • Yet again, trying to drive people away. • “The baklava not so great either imean it’s good but not a wow factor either.” • This statement contradicts itself. If the baklava is good, then why is it part of a negative review? • The reviewer is reaching for extra criticism but ultimately admits that the baklava is good. That alone makes their negativity seem forced.
• “Americanized Mediterranean food” is a meaningless criticism unless the reviewer can point to what specifically was inauthentic. Many authentic Mediterranean restaurants have adapted slight modifications for local audiences while still maintaining high quality.
Final Verdict:
Conclusion: This review is full of bias, arrogance, and baseless claims—and should be completely...
Read moreWalked in to check the place out. I had heard good things from a friend who works Nextdoor. The place is very new, aside from the digital menu, there wasn’t much in the way of imagery yet to get an idea of portion sizes and platter arrangements which is understandable. They told me that they had just opened a few days ago.
I wanted to give them a try and ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate with a side of fries and drink. It took a bit long to make the order, but it was worth the extra time as it was absolutely delicious! I’m sure the wait time will go down as they refine their methods, but this wasn’t an issue. If the food is great, it’s worth the wait.
The rice is seasoned very well and the chicken was moist and tasty. The fries went very well with the garlic sauce and the pickles were excellent. I’m definitely returning to try the shawarma fries. Glad to have another Mediterranean option in...
Read moreI called today for a pick up order for a beef shawarma, I called the wrong location, by accident! Mind you I always support this business at all there locations, and have recommended it to several friends that look for a good Mediterranean spot. When I called the gentleman that answered and made my order was very rude, I explained to him that it was an accident and that I was sorry, I felt like I was talking to a very upset father talking to his daughter when he’s mad, it was embarrassing at the moment and I could’ve easily hung up but didn’t. I can understand how this is frustrating, but coming from a family business myself it’s how the business is sometimes, unfortunately, but you should know to always maintain professionality and good customer service no matter what.
