Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Victorville

Usually great but today I ordered 1 family meal and it took 43 min to get my order once it was placed. I went up after 20 minand she said they were working on the pork. When I got my meal I told the girl it had taken just shy of 45 min. She said ok. She said you ordered the family meal and those can take 20 min. I said I waited almost 45. She said you ordered pork. I said how long does that take? She said about 10 min. I said I waited almost 45. She said ok. I asked for a manager she said I am one. I said how is it OK to make me wait 45 min. She said I should have ordered ahead. I said I tried 4 times throughout the day. She said yeah if we have to many orders come in at once it won't work right. I was pretty upset and I didn't get an offer for a partial credit, I didn't get a freE item, hell I didn't even get a I am sorry...I got attitude and basically old it was OK to wait 45 in. I will NOT be going...

Ono is some of the best quick service food you can get in the high desert. And their new Victorville location means not having to fight traffic to go to their other store.

They serve mostly BBQ (duh), but their offerings are excellent. They do have some fish and shrimp offerings, but the BBQ is where they do their best.

My personal favorite is their BBQ & Katsu mix, which comes with BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, and chicken Katsu. Every plate comes with rice, macaroni salad, and vegetables. They also offer teriyaki and Katsu sauces, but I prefer enjoying the flavor of the meat dishes on their own.

It might be a bit pricier than your average fast food place, but you definitely get your money's worth.

most of the experiences i had with Ono were disappointing. when ive ordered doordash in the past, it has gotten messed up more times than not so i figured if i went into the store it would be a better experience. I went today and ordered two sets of spam musubi, drove all the way back home (25ish minutes), and one of the orders was totally wrong, they just threw 4 pcs of burnt spam in the box and called it a day. the other order of it was made correctly too which was a little weird. we had to drive back another 25 minutes, they did give 2 extra orders of it to compensate- but it still left a bad taste in my mouth to have to leave right as i was getting ready to eat to go...
