This location is known for only accepting cash between the times of 1am-2am. Around 12am i came by to get my usual order. It always comes out to ($9.02). This time i came by they said its cash only. So i drove and pulled out money then returned. When i ordered they said my total will be ready for me at the second window. When i pull up they charge me ($11.30). I asked if the prices have raised? The worker told me yes! They have changed in price. So i asked for my receipt and they told me no! They told me that im not allowed to have my receipt. I asked why? And they got super hostile and brought over their supervisor. I asked for my receipt again and the manager said that because i payed with cash i do not have the right to a receipt.... I complained that i didnt have a choice, they were only accepting cash. Eventually the manager told me to leave. So i did. Next day i called corporate and explained the situation and they were shocked by what they heard! They asked me for my usual order so i read it off to them. My total came out to ($9.02) they immediately believed me as soon as i was able to guess the exact price of what i always pay with tax. Corporate has apologized many times and have even offered me free meals. But free meals is not what im after. The managers and employees at this location are thieves. They need to be exposed for the shady acts they are commiting! I was legally/illegally robbed by a franchised McDonald's! Look out everyone! If you come to this location be sure to count your pennies! Because they will rob you and tell you anything they can to get you to leave. The prices of my order never changed! They just said they did so i would pay them extra and they would just pocket the change. I understand this is Victorville. Read moreDrive thru lady just a few minutes into midnight early this morning (May 12) gave me a confusing instruction then attitude. When I was trying to ask what she meant, she was cutting me off sounding all annoyed and frustrated when she could’ve just let me finish my questions and told me what she meant. I didn’t do anything bad. Just didn’t understand what she meant since she wasn’t specific enough for me to follow it. I was there to pick up an order and she said “can you wait in line?” Ive never heard a drive thru person say that instead of the usual “we’ll have the order ready at the window “ or “pull forward”. So I thought she meant let the other part of the dual drive thru (which had 2 or 3 cars waiting versus my only one car on my side) go before me to even out the drive thru. A couple minutes passed and I tried asking “did you mean wait by the box or go forward with the other cars?” She wasn’t at fault for how non specific her instruction was to me. But it was the attitude she gave back. Cutting me off, then me trying to ask my question again because she didn’t answer it the first time she cut me off and still getting cutoff a second or third time with an attitude. When I don’t understand something, I literally apologize and ask them to specific. That’s poor to think someone has the status to act rude to someone who’s trying to understand. .
The 5 stars is just because I’m not complaining about the whole McDonalds. It’s just her attitude. If management here is caring which I know a lot of fast food restaurants dont have that type of management, hopefully you strive for improvement the more you hear about these types of situations. Read moreI always love going to McDonalds but this was a Terrible experience. It's a long story but I'll keep it short. I placed and order with a code for a free double cheeseburger if I placed an order of $1 or more. I order a small fry and the double cheeseburger. Gave my code abd paid for just the fries. I waited 10 minutes for my order. I noticed that other orders were being called ahead of mine, so I asked if they called my number yet. A nice EMPLOYEE got my order together but the burger wasn't there. I asked the woman who placed my order what happened. Sge said that my code didn't work so she just paced the order for the fries. I saud, " But you never mentioned that the code didn't work. ANGELICA the employee was very rude and yelled at me DO YOU WANT YOUR FREE BURGER. HERE I'LL GET IT FOR YOU. She continued to make a spectacle of herself. I asked for her name and she said she didn't have to tell me. I proceded to take a photo because she would not identify herself. She came up to me and yelled DO YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO MY MANAGER. I said, Yes I would. The manager was very kind AND apologized to me for her behavior. I asked if she could place my order correctly. I let her know that l wanted the employees name and I'd be calling corporate. You bet I did. These employees really need to get it together or don't work in customer service! 😤
Update I called and emailed corp and have not heard back yet. Very Poor customer service.
