We celebrated my wife’s birthday here with a large 20-person party, and from start to finish, the service and hospitality were beyond exceptional. The owners—a husband-and-wife team—were personally present the entire evening, checking in with us and making sure every single detail was taken care of.
One of the highlights for me was when I mentioned that I didn’t realize I could have ordered my dish a certain way. Without hesitation, the owner kindly took my plate, prepared it just how I wanted, and served me the most incredible sopa de birria. That small but thoughtful gesture truly showed the level of superior customer service they deliver. He also immediately accommodated another member of our party who wanted to change her salad—done with a smile and zero hesitation. The food was delicious!
Our drinks were always refilled before we even had to ask, and throughout the evening we felt taken care of in every way. The restaurant itself is elegant and beautifully decorated, with a warm, inviting ambiance. The live guitar music added the perfect touch, creating a festive yet intimate atmosphere for our celebration.
To top it all off, the staff ended the night with a lively, fun birthday conga line for my wife, complete with a complimentary birthday shot. It was the perfect finale to a truly unforgettable evening.
Sancova didn’t just give us dinner—they gave us a celebration to remember. My wife was blown away, and our friends and family are still talking about what an incredible night it was. We are DEFINITELY coming back. This place...
Read moreI was very excited to visit this new restaurant that was advertised in the Daily Press in Victorville. The Atmosphere is absolutely Beautiful BUT there’s more to having a great meal and experience than just the Atmosphere. Honestly I don’t know how long this restaurant will remain open. We were seated right a way after 5 minutes our server brought us menus after 10 minutes she returned to get our drink order my husband ordered a diet soda and I ordered a Cadillac margarita. In about 15 minutes my husband got his drink in a can with a tall glass of ice our so for every can of soda you order you pay $3.50 so no free refills, our server did bring some water and table setting’s. Finally our server brought some chips and salsa Another 10 minutes passed before I get my Cadillac margarita and it was served in a small wine glass and wasn’t tasty $12.00 for that. We finally ordered a food and it took half an hour for our food to arrive at our table. I was absolutely disappointed with the service and the food but the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and I won’t ever be coming back to this restaurant ever again. The owners need to go to La Casita and check them out, they are a mom and pop Mexican restaurant and their food and service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean and busy with customers. It’s a good thing that I wasn’t a secret shopper because their reviews would of been horrible worse than what I...
Read moreOkay so I hope the owner and everyone takes this all knowing I so so so badly wanted to like this place. I want to come back and be able to give you 5 stars cause the place is cute and they just opened in February. So the staff is friendly and great with service, the food is just okay. The arrachera is literally just a piece of carne asada. It's a medium-sized piece and well seasoned but still just 1 piece. With a small side of rice and beans for $22??? The sancova Burrito was tasty but came out with like bits of burnt carne asada, the girls were nice enough to take it back for us. It came out much better when they brought it back. The appetizer was great, had many options, and everything on it was tasty. The cherry blossom drink had very little flavor and mostly tasted like tajin, I was expecting more berry flavor. The horchata was watered down and tasted like a cheap packet of drink mix. The power went off and the music kept like disconnecting or skipping. I think this place has potential and I hope they can make...
